Going to Mars? How about they give you the gun, fly you over the atlantic and wake you up in time for Disneyland / fish & chips? We gots the tech we uses it me says.
Mommy, now that Lassie is old, will he go to dog heaven?
-Nah honey, we just drain his blood, fill it with majik saline solution, pump him full of fresh red life juice, and shazam! he's as good as new.
The possibilites for comedic exploitation are endless. Just when you start thinking about growing up, another reason to be reckless appears.

But they can`t recover someone whops dead of old age , or can they ? Immortality is a little bit more distant...but as far as i know there have been succesfull "live-lenghting" experiments with worms and rats...

But after all this invention can cause quite a few problems ..especial ethical and religious...raising the dead is like playing god....so we are god or did god never existed in the first place ? After all im atheist...

Right, your body still needs to be in working condition.

So no raising zombies with failing organs.

    ...yet.

But yes this does kinda have interesting religious implications. Although they have chosen to ignore them in the past...
