    Exalted Art Print

I figured you talented guys and gals would enjoy seeing this pretty pic...

Below is a wallpaper image done up of the art print we'll be selling at comic and RPG conventions this summer to help promote Udon's new fantasy comic series.

Basically, imagine the picture below vivid, crisp and almost two feet tall on your wall

Line art by Noi Sackda, incredible paints by the talented Christine Choi.

    Here's the original line art:

That's some freakish anatomy. But, since this seems to be more of an advertisement than a post for crits, you probably aren't interested.

    She's almost grabbin' that boob...

Yeah, dogfood. Yer probably right about the anatomy. But it still *looks* cool. And that is what counts.

I agree, there's some coolness, but most of it comes from the rendering (although the breast thing is throwing me off).

Hey, look! We have the same number of posts! ...oh, darn...

the only thing that bothers me is the hips seem to be dislocated, you would have to break the spine to get them in that position it seems, other than that the rest of the stylistic choices seem fine to me

Dude....nice poster - the line work in the original sketch is tight too. My only crit was that I thought it was a little bo-PEEP! show with the crotch shot and the flesh colored leggins. If I were to see that as a poster, I'd do a double take for sure, but then again, if it is her power to do a Marilyn Monroe skirt lift and then blast the hell outta ya, then she's doin' her job.
    Thanks for sharing!

My initial reaction as well! I can't decide if it's typical male artist juvenille behavior, or clever marketing... after all, didn't you say you did a double take?

If I didnt see the lineart, Id of had no idea what the deal was with the crotch, add more contrast or black panties, something.
I really dont care for the backround at all. Something simpler, tradiotional media-looking would work better. Right now Im drawn to the center but for the wrong reason, I end up looking at the weird white circle thing at her hip, which isnt the focal point. The focal point should be the between the hand shooting light and the face.
    Otherwise nice colors.

did a double-take myself. Anatomy does seem off, now that someone mentioned it, but the coloring is very good. Overall, it's really cool.

Actually, I think about all the Exalted book covers have freakish anatomy. I suppose the background swirl thingy is supposed to be her anima (essence she pulls from her environment and that is flowing out of her when she uses her magic power)

It looks beautiful! And you most frigging certainly not have to break the spine to get that pose. Not remotely...it's not even particularly contorted. It just seems like the stock comment to any shot of a woman with a bit of cheezecake to it. I got so sick of that kind of thing when I worked at Top Cow.
