    My first sketchbook thread!!!

Here is my first sketchbook thread. These are a few of the sketches I've done during the past couple of months. Here's the earliest one done without reference. It was recently inked by an artist at a comic-con.
This one is a collaboration between my friend NAT and I during history class...

Here's another collab with some detail

    People in my dorm...
Drawing in the car on the way home

    Studying girls

Studying all sorts of stuff... a few graff artists, some Wesley Burt (topright+body), and the rest of the faces done without reference.

    self-portraits

This one was done chillin at a coffee shop with Angelo, Brendan, Dan, and Drew. The guy in the middle is the infamous crackhead.

More studies of the master, WesleyBurt...except for the double face.

This one is from the pits of my imagination... Trance like state...

    A quick acrylic test.

Cool man. Lots of nice drawings!

Good mix of styles you've got going here. Love your face studies as well. If i'm not mistaken, is that the girl from Tatou? She crazy!

    Keep on posting dude!

    Arrow

Here I have some 16x12 inch drawings I did for my drawing final this semester. It is supposed to show a progression; I chose degredation. It the story of the girl with the pink lips, you interpret the rest.

    Red face

IILooney - Thanks for the support.

aweshux - The final took plenty of time, about 2 weeks and many all nighters. I had to cover the pages with charchoal to have a midtone in which I can ad graphite or erase for highlights. I really enjoyed using this technique.

Erilaz - I will definitely update.

    How bout now?

    No ref!

    Self-portrait

    This one took awhile...

No ref...her arm is kinda messed up and the position looks unatural. It was a study of composition with echoing diagonals.

    A better study of composition

    An old piece

I also have some questions for you veterans.
Is there any way to change the name of this thread? Because it's not really my first one anymore.
And how do you properly add a sketchbook link on your signature area, without showing the link?

    thanks guys!
