oops. sorry. My email has been all over stuff, and I hardly get any spam. I use my work email when I fill out forms and stuff, so that one gets like 30 a day.

i have to excuse for the poor quality of this sketch...after fucking up the face multiple times i didn't feel like cleaning up the rest properly. if you're lucky i might do a revamp, but i doubt it. ontop are thumbnails for possible other poses.

I agree, and what I'm really stoked about (besides the thumbnails), is that that is the very type of pistol I was thinking of: the long Naval revolver. Cool!

I agree with some of the comments regarding spam blockers and work e-mail. If there's no monster clam staring at you in the first bit, I think it's worthwhile just putting the warning in bold at the top of the first post.

    Aberrant, still chuckling, brother.

If anyone's looking for a group, or any group looking for another person, i would really enjoy participating in this. Looks fun as hell. I don't have painter, or any digital painting program for that matter, so i cant do all the amazing things you guys have done, but i do have pencils. I'm going to start drawing a character now, so someone PM me if interested.

so, do the original sketches have to be good, or can they be quick? Like, is an hour sufficient?

depends on the quality. you can spend an hour on it,but it shouldn't necessarily look like one hour

    I CRAVE A CHALLENGE!
you two battle me (no collabs!) in a BOOBIE THUNDERDOME!
should you be ok with it,then i'll post an appropriate thread in the challenge area. if not, then i'll just draw some boobies alone and post them here to mock you.

    no problem bradart.

Yar. Although the previous posts were slightly entertaining, let's keep this thread sketch trade related eh? Any outside battle talk can be done by pm'ing.

Sorry Carnal you were asking for this: a crit from me
Why did you choose the noobiest pose? did you ever see a person standing like that? why did you go with such a difficult light source? (judging by the shadows around her feet) if one even exists?
Hands are too small I think, that is all from me FOR NOW

Ooh, this added a little circle to the letter, yay!

heh, well hamsta i thought it would be quite a "strong" pose-but alas you proved me wrong.i didn't think about lightsource at all-just that it might come from above perhaps.well,i have no clue concerning ground shadows
have you done your homework? spending more time on your pics now? all b&w?

    reporting in.

So, here's the beginings of my (first) groups drawings. We're still waiting on Chaotic Knight's sketch though.. once he sends me that, I'll update this post with his character too.

Here's my guy, I call him Bayou Suave!

(All that yellow junk I think was absent mindedly inspired by fellas' kickbutt recent work...I think I made a bit of a mess of it..)

And here's CCThroms most excellent sketch... entitled.. TK STROG ...02 (.jpg) !!!

Man, this is such a great idea for a thread.

EDIT: Got Chaotic Knight's image, we're all set and ready to draw these babies!

"Bayou Suave" huh? Nice! The flowers on his hat are a good touch... he looks like the kinda guy that wears a flowery hat just so's he can beat the #%&#!! outta anyone that comments.

My guy's name is "Skrog Chuldi" - He's an innkeeper and an ogre... not neccesarily in that order.

ack! so much going on during my absence!!! so sorry about the delay here boys ive just bin caught up in a fair bit and then there's the whole 'eeehhh i have other thigns i could be doing tonite' shabang. stupid things. ANYWAY

    lostradamus's shark man: my version

i know hes not colored this time but i liked the sketchy look more, and i also really enjoyed the crap quality of my paper, turned out nice when i upped the contrast a bit, looks like a parchment sketch of one or something.

nice job michael, i really aprecciate were both you and scuba went with sharkula, i dig the sketchy look and pose, looks really tragically beautiful like alot of your works. thanks for bringing so much of yourself into the sketch, when i take this character further i will have so much more inspiration and things to play around with and i just wanted to thank you for that. so what's next exactly? im itching to get more of this stuff on the go, this has to be the coolest thing i've done in a long time. (man i don't get out much )
