i'm lovin that james hetfield video you did. the drawing was killer too, and being a metallica fan also sold me on it (a fan of the black album and everything before) (and the S&M album). so yeah, sweet subject matter as well. keep it up.

Hey Dark! Thanks for watchin. Possibly soon! I've had over 500 views in the past 2 days with a few requests.. along with some portraits I still need to do for my project.. ahhh

Hey Zealot. I love James Hetfield! thx for watchin the vid. Am I the only one out there that likes all the albums? (except st anger-havent heard it, wont hear it!) as a matter of fact i put reload in the truck this morning. i love it all

Making these videos is so ADDICTING!!! Doesn't take too long and it's a lot of fun... got me the motivation I needed to keep doing more and more. I'd love to see some of you people do one too. Not too many non-anime drawing videos up there yet. So hurry up!

Hi, just watched the Vince Vaughn video. Very impressive. I have only seen the ones you've done so far and I think your overall technique is improving. I noticed how you got the basic shapes down for his face rather well. I started to recognize him after the outline. But I think his eyebrows are too dark and pronounced. I'll have to look at a pic of him again. But great work! I don't have the video equipment to do one of these but it's looking awefully tempting. Keep up the great work!

pretty sweet vince vaughn video, you're pretty good with those pastels (are they pastels?) oh and to answer your question, you arent the only person that likes all the metallica albums, MTV did a poll and found that there are more people in the world who like everything after the black album, four people actually. A deaf tibetan nomad who trains wild dogs plays load and re-loaded to take the wild out of the dogs by depressing them with sheer disappointment. Also, according to the survey there's a musically dislexic hog skinner in germany who listens to all music backwards who says it doesn't sound bad when played backwards and set amongst the screams of farm pigs. The last two people MTV found that likes everything after the black album was James Hetfield himself, and Lars. Kirk doesn't really like the stuff after the black album but james and lars wont listen to his suggestions and Rob Trujillo is in it for the money and practice.

This is my favorite out of all the one's I've done so far. This one I started out with a light pencil sketch, the face was way too big not to. 18x24 paper now officially the biggest head I've ever drawn!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYHTO5F2Mq8

oh yeah.. this girl requested that I draw her--she's from sweden. at the end i used a translator to say thanks for watching. don't think i'm all bilingual and stuff.. and I hope that's what it really says. haha

Beautiful work on that last portrait. Watched your video. Still amazed. Really like that way you got those subtle shadows on the nose and the hair. So did all these videos with your digital camera? Thats pretty cool! BTW, thanks for the encouraging words in my SB Alright, waiting for the next video!

Wow, she likes Angelina Jolie also. I wouldn't take it as a compliment, straight up art theft. Hey she mentioned that she was going to Washington for a bit of travelling. I'm here now, I'll sock her in the eye for ya

    2 More Vids!!

Dark-That Isabelle drawing used to be my fave.. But my fave has been replaced with that dude down there!!! And you're very welcome for the words in your book. You deserve every last one of them for being so freakin' determined. We could all learn a little something from you.

Razor-About the girl's #... You'll have to go through her dad to get it cuz she's JAILBAIT!!! haha. Anywho, the road trip sounds tempting. Let's go!!! But I wouldn't go to track that stupid girl down.. I actually feel better about the situation now that I sent a message to each one of her friends explaining what she did.. I got 1 response and it was an apology... I am fulfilled. lol

Shylone & Sabe-Thanks for lookin in my book!!! My first time seeing you here.. Thanks for stopping by

Cami-A friend told me how to disable external website linking. So now anyone that tries to play it on her page it will say "The owner of this video does not allow embedding. Please watch this video on YouTube.com" hah!!

Okay.. So now for the updates.

    I did 2 more videos.

Marilyn: yall remember my first attempt.. This one is better but I still made her look like a hag (no one seems to care!??) but I do.. I'll get it better next time!!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0Z46-WAoqY

And an old school weirdo. If anyone can tell me who this is, I will give you two thumbs up

Hey, was just about to go to bed, but saw that you posted something. Love them both. Especially the Marilyn. Great work with both. I like the clock you placed in the second video. You should include the clock in all of them. And I really don't think you made her look like a hag. You've seen some of the earlier pages of my SB I think I've botched up plenty of females portraits. But keep it up! I really enjoy watching your work.

Hey Dark!! Thanks for checkin before you went to bed. I will have the clock in each new one.. (unless its a commission and they dont want it!) I had a few messages pretty much telling me people didn't believe that I had completed them in a short period of time. Like I care, but I just wanted to prove them wrong. mwahahha

Hey Crazy!! Haven't seen you here in a long time!!! I've definitely been workin hard.. I'm so happy with my art now. I know I'm working from photos.. But I will stay here for at least a little bit longer. I'm learning tons about proportion.. And these videos make me try new techniques (faster ones).. I suggest making videos to anybody who is a little down about their art and needs motivation.

RAZORREKE!!!! Here is your Matthew Bellamy!! It's a quickie, so I hope you like it.. And I know you wanted pencil, but I've been on an oil pastel kick lately.
I just realized HIS right eye (our left) looks funny. I'm sorry!

oh yeah... my fiance took me to my favorite art store today to buy neat stuff. yay! i got a few new sketchbooks, more black oil pastels, and some markers i'm gonna try. wish me luck!

Dark-HI! Thx for stopping by again to watch my stuff.. I guess my entire page 4 will consist of nothing but videos if I keep going the way I'm going!! haha.. but man, it's got me more motivated then I've ever been. And here's 2 more for you !

Hey Fat!! I'll try to keep that in mind. I've been trying different ways of shading and such. Been practicing a lot of that off-video just scrap paper.. I want to find the way where it won't leave tons of blotches especially with oil pastel.. soft pastel I don't have that much of an issue with pulling the shade outward.. I hope that made sense, I'm tired

some people asked me if I ever had a contest to give away my drawings.. and I thought it was a neat idea so for my 10th video i'm having one. not sure how much response it will get, but I have 100 subscribers now so hopefully it won't take long for someone to reply.. HOPEFULLY!!

there's lots of stuff on both of these that i should go back and fix, but i thought it was done when i finished the video, so im not gonna touch them... cuz i'd probably mess them up even more :/
