Yeah i like that green demon piece to. Only thing i would work on is the rocks. They seem a little composed - making room for the characters and going out of the frame almost at the same hight on each side. Twist them a bit and make a piece of rock stick up in the foreground. Nice anatomy studies, the dude is nice - the female looks like she could beat the crab out of him tho. I thinks there is a drawing of bodystrukture in mentlers thread - kinda of a 1,2,3 proportion drawing (i use it as wallpaper). I tend to make my females look a bit too strong myself btw. Keep up the good work dude!

Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it.

I'm also sorry I haven't been posting. I've been going through a rough (also emotional) period in my life, and it's hard for me to find inspiration lately. Like with the latest activity - I did the thumbnails, sketch, WIP thread, corrections, but then at one point I just ran out of steam, and couldn't get around to it. Still can't, and probably never will.

Maybe I'm not cut out for this. I sure won't be drawing and posting as often as some of the others (that means you, too, Fellah ). I am, however, still resolved to do more Loomis stuff, more sketching, etc. I'm planning to set aside an hour or two just for drawing tonight, but no promises.

Well, I finally bought myself a proper sketchbook. And guess what? I didn't feel like drawing at all, until I doodled this while watching some crappy movie (and after having seen Ame Agaru, Kagemusha and The Last Samurai for the umpteenth times in previous days). Not a good opening of a sketchbook, and a crappy "scan", but meh.

And here's a little something something I whipped out for the latest Illustration Activity. A quickie, really - I jumped on my sudden need to visualise the idea - and I could've done better on the vault, wheel and perspective, but for all intents and purposes, this is finished.

Another one for Rick's Illustration Activity. It has a horse in it, and the horse actually looks like a horse, which is a big accomplishment for me, even if photographic reference was used for the animal.

you have improved alot! YOur loomis female looks funny because the neck is to thick and the frame is a bit to muscular. In sort the female looks like a male.

Thanks. The female is almost disgusting, but see everything I said about her and the reference. If I have time, maybe I'll try to draw her again. For now, I'd rather spend what little time I have on other pics and further Loomis studies (keeping in mind what I screwed up with the female).

Another activity. I'll spare you the details explaining the reasoning behind it for now, I'll post them when I post the finished piece (which will probably be full digital in the end).

    THUMBNAILS:

    Number 3 was chosen.

    SKETCH:

Piece was dropped for lack of interest and time.

Made relatively minor fixes to the sketch above.

Today's doodles (bad and somewhat skewed photo - the sword was almost straight, ie. no edge used, but it was nowhere near this crooked; do forgive me ):
