Nice renderings you got here. Just watch out for where the weight is distributed. On that last mech, it looks like its going to fall back because both legs are too far forward.

    Keep up the hard work!

P.s. this is one of my favourites: http://onajii.com/d_sketches/sketch211.jpg I dig the style and use of medevil clothing! Plus those mecha and conceptual sketches are kickass!

    Bojee:
Danke Bojee, you keep doing what your doing sir

minjarr:Sure you can sculpt, I guess it depends on the type of clay your working with. The type of clay I used for my project was oil clay. Its hard at first, but gets really soft after you work it in your hands for awhile. Thanks for stopping in my book, Awesome meeting you at the workshop man.

SantaClaus:Thank you, your sketchbook one to definitely keep going back to. Love your style.

Danomight:Thanks Danomight, I was going for a organic feel. I'm glad you like. Thanks for stopping in my book

WolfBane:I wish I could smell it more often, its been awhile. Glad to see you back posting. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Bendragon: Thanks for the crit, I think the idea I was going for was him moving forward with one leg forward, I will definetly keep that in mind in the future. Thanks for stopping in.

asoir:Thanks Asoir, love your dedication man, keep it up, and thanks for stopping in.

Stine:WOw, where have you been?, j/k I know you've been busy with your final thesis. How is that going anyways? I hope well. Loving your portraits, you make it look so damn easy. Thanks for checking out my book.

    mentler:Pure inspiration, thank you sir.

Arekkusu:Thanks man, really appreciate the support!!

Thank you everyone for the words of encourgement and feedback. Your words really mean a lot to me. Sorry for the late update. Last week my grandfather died at the age of 86, he had a stroke while in bed. So he died in his sleep. The stressful part was seaching for an plane ticket to Richmond Virginia from San Francisco on 2 days notice that wouldn't break my bank. I found one for Aaron and I that was pretty reasonable.

Aaron and I flew out to Sunday night, the Funeral was on Tuesday and got back into town Late Wensday night. While in Virginia My brother and I slept in the bed where my grandfather use to sleep. He actually didn't die in the room, he was in a Nursing home when he passed. Despite the circumstances it was good to see the family and friends come together to pay their respects. So not all was blue and gloomy.

But during that time in Virginia I really got to reflect on alot of things. Where I am now and where I want to be. Putting it all into perspective. My art, my life, friends family. I'm really happy with my life, my friends and family (including you CAers). I just want to say thanks for all the support and inspiration over the last year. I have a long ways ahead, but I'm going to get there.

Ok enough of that, back to why I'm posting here. Here are some life sketches of fish and dogs. Fish were at an aquarium here in SF, the dogs were two instructors, one Whippet and the other a fat pug. Also mixed in are some fish creature concepts. and studies from other animals. enjoy

I'm sorry to hear about your loss Darktwin. But it's great to hear you have such a positive outlook.

This is my first time visiting your sketchbook, which is a shame because you've got some awesome stuff here! I'm loving the figure studies and the attention to detail. Fish must be insane to draw, but these look terrific. Hope to see more soon!

Man, I am sorry for your loss. It's always so tough to lose a beloved family member. When it happens though, it's bittersweet, because you get to see all the people in your family you never usually get to see.

All my best to you and your brother.

hey man, great updates as always!
i really enjoyed the animal update, the cow page in particular and you recent figure studies really show volume extremely well despite being quite minimal line drawings, so thats pretty impressive
nothing much else to say other than you continue to inspire.
are you thinking about dipping into colour anytime soon? just curious
