I hate to sya it but anatomy. Now that we have that out of the way some of your peoples heads lookslike they have a black hole tugging at them and skewing them a little? Im guessing your trying some new perspective or maybe its on purpose but just thought I'd mention it. Keep it up!
I like the fragmented style on some of them...lots of sharp lines going all kinds of directions. Gives a nice effect.

The apes are super cool. I like.
cool stuff- your stuff would really lend itself to editorial illustration, or like above, celebrity portraiture. your stuff's got the look that a lot of contemporary illustration is going for. thumbs up!

Hey I see immense improvement from your initial works keep up the good work man. To aid in your growth as an illustrator I would suggest purchasing an anatomy book of some sort. Your style will only be aided by resources.![]()

Hey Darrel,
I am a big fan too. Iv'e been collecting Blade of Immortal (Jap. Ver.) for awhile. Great comic. I am a little behind though. I am only up to volume 13. I have to get up-to-date. Now, I have been mainly reading "Berserk". If you haven't read it, it is really good.
Well, keep up the excellent work. Take care.

Your mind is an incredible detail-distillation-style-amzaficator!!!!! I am mesmerized by your imagination and depiction of anything,,,,do you sculpt??? Blade of the immortal,,yeah!!! Got 'em all!!! Love it when the "black ninja" you drew a version of fights the one armed man in the abandoned hut and the forest and cuts off his last hand to send him plumetting to his fate,,,ahahahahaha!
I hope it doesn't offend you, but I get the same feeling of contentedness and lack of ego coming off from your work as I do when looking at works of Paul klee (old man figuring) and the great french mogul, omg,,,,I am pulling a blank,,,,I can't believe I took five years of art his. and can't remember a name I knew when I was six!!!!.....Any way it is the guy who developed a palsy in his latter years, and resorted to paper cutouts, some of his greatest works ever,,,I feel like a dunce,,,,your work really hits the spot, though, 5stars,perfect ten,,
thanks for posting
