**CA Sketchbook**
Had some time for sketching the other night.
here's some more creatures and things.
your poses arent far from dynamic neither, especially in the last sketch, that thing standing on the side. Classic.
Cold - Thanks for the comment!! I really want to start getting more dynamic with my poses! creatures and human figures as well! I need to get one of those dynamic figure drawing books from half price or something!
Here's a quick sketch I did today at work during lunch!
nice stuff Ryan it would be nice to see a finished environment.

These are great. I followed the Zdzislaw quote thinking "at least we share similar interests right."
Anyhow, just wanted to chime in and say 'nice job.'
Some very impressive sketch work you have here man.

Thanks guys! I will be updating soon!
Here's some fairly recent 3d work!
this is ancient, be lenient ha
Here are some thumbnails, not that good but you get the idea, feel free to use them for any ideas you might have!
Native American sketch, no reference was used.
Those thumbnails of the environments are nice! Especially the pier winding into the horizon, great sense of depth! One thing I noticed is that your line work can be a messy at times (like the last one in post 128 ). But your last two uploads have fairly controlled strokes. Still, looks awesome all around!![]()
Very nice book here. I especially like the "post apocalypse" from page four.
On the zBrush Anatomy studies are you building a poly mesh outside or do you create the mesh and everything in zBrush.
Anywho, great work.

Fresh Start
Hey man, nice work. I figured the picture of the girl was a photo as well, but I caught on because you didn't bother to shade the nose. You own me...
Melihitchcock- Thanks a lot! I know my line work can tend to be messy a lot! I sketch fast at times and fill in a lot of area quick. I really need to slow down and create clean lines where I can go back in and shade precisely and keep it controlled more. Thanks again!
Euthyphro- Hey man thanks bro! check out www.beksinski.pl if you liked that! haa. As for the zbrush stuff. I usually build a lowpoly cage in max so I can control my mesh a lot more in early stages and really block in the basic figure and shape. I experiment with zspheres as well though because you can model really quick that way and you can also use symmetry, then always go back and retopologize later! With the release of Zbrush 3 there has been a lot of new things to improve modeling within zbrush, I don't think zspheres have changed much but they are still a powerful tool for modeling and getting things done quick! From my knowledge most industry pros model in an external package then import into zbrush. Hope this helps ;]
Kai Black- Thanks! I'm glad you like!
Here are some new fllicks! The portrait painting is acrylics and I just started it the other day! I still have a lot of work to do on it so Ill keep you updated when I finish it! Right now it's just a basic block in!
Some small updates. crits welcome!
