    ***Portraits n' Stuff***

Here is some stuff that's been sitting around.
I've been playing with light and color lately.
I'll dump some more stuff in here next week.

    Thanks!

    A couple points to consider:

The textures look a tad bit forced. Or at least inconsistant.

The guy in armor looks especially overdone with the textures. And it seems to me that the light source[s] is[are] conflicting on the head + armor vs cape.

In my opinion in the second one the two blue streaks are unecessary. I'm a fan of the moody peice.

And finally the women's eyes are most uninteresting. The necklace, chin and hood are sharper and therefor distracting from my favorite part [and I think the most important.]

there's a nice painterly feel to the rendering on all of these, but I'm really digging that fat iguana sultan hatching an idea for a dastardly deed.

    Nice work.
The one I prefer is the armored guy : his armor is totally stunning. If the lighting of the face is as strong, it's gonna be a pure top notch picture.
    Keep posting.

my favorites are the 2nd and 4th one, the second is very sienkiewicz-ish, and the last one reminds me of something i would see in the star wars concept books.. the faces seem kinda weak in the other ones, i know you can do better..
