I'm not sure about that green outline around Jay-Z, but overall good job!

I think if you keep the color of the outline of the characters the same color as the outline of the titles, you'll get much better blending effect.. I hope that got thru.. j-z is ma boy!

yeah yeah...all the jayz fans. i'm glad people out there still know who KRS is (and know how important he is too).

the art: great stuff. i agree the outline around J's figure seems odd...maybe i'd have gone for another warm colour. i really love the red eyes on meth and red (probably from what they do best :p) hope we get to see more of these! (if not, do gangstarr)

Thanks for the responses and suggestions. A couple of folks aren't very keen on the green outline for Jay-Z, but don't seem to mind the other outlines, so i guess it's the color some people aren't digging.

As for the school part, i went to school in Miami studying commercial art. The school was ok, but anywhere you can find a bunch of artist is a great place to be, as long as you don't just drink your 4 yrs away. Hence searching the forums.

Now what you should be doing is either DMX or Ludacris. But maybe that's just me.

The one with Redman and Meth is the best for my taste because it has a lot of movement. I like Jay Z the less, but anyway I don't like Jay Z

But seriosuly, these are awesome. I'm not TOO keen on hip hop and all but it looks like you captured the liknesses very well. The colors are lovely, also.

Well done. I dig the green. I like all the outlines, and they are very well rendered! But as NaS would say (F&@% Jay-Z!) And where the heck is B-I-G?!
