your style is gorgeous, really love the thick loose lines and dynamism which comes from them, you also use a lot of texture which I'm really starting to appreciate in others' work

This stuff is orgasmic... Incredible sense of motion, and the colors are stale but cool. Very nice!

your paintings are a little vague in design. meaning, i think your paintings are over impressionized and there's alot of excessive painting hiding any concrete design. i think you might be going for a sort of ryan church style..but for him the vehicle design (for example) does not suffer from his impressionistic style. just some thoughts.

orcatraz - Cool - Thanks man
    Pixeldragoon - Thankyou
CoNTRoL - I think you're missing the point. I'm trying to capture a sense of action and movement. I don't want to nail down a concrete design. I want the viewer to participate in the painting. I'm not going for a Ryan Church style.

    Here's some more head doodles

I love your environments Andrew. I think the vehicles and buildings in the distance could be a tiny bit more visible though, at first I couldn't see them.

    Great job, keep it up.

    The Bone Doctor Dialogue

Andrew :::: Very impressive variety :::: the way you handle the human form is a sensitive as your mechs and environs are dynamic :::: I for one greatly admire the visceral illusive quality of your works :::: I try to avoid the stilled sense of finish myself :::: I receive crits for this from time to time as well :::: finished to me is really a deadly word!

The most recent one is HOT- especially for two hours! I enjoy the hints of a city far off in the distance. Wouldn't mind seeing that one expanded upon...

    orcatraz, MorteM - Cheers guys!

mentler - spot on. Your loosness is really appealing to me. While finished pieces can be very impressive, there's something special about a dynamic sketch. Other than that they are just way more fun to do and I think that comes though.

ReAkshun, Diego, Mr.Blonde, Ferg, Gloominati, Quick_Sketch and stalsby - thanks guys - I appreciate it!!

Just a muscle doodle for now

    An Drew It!!

You are doing a great job with hands and feet <><> I am getting ready to start an intensive mini hands and feet workshop and have gone back to review them to prepare about 6 hours of lecture and demo material.

They real key here of course is to understand the bony structures because there is so little flesh that covers hands and feet. The same thing is also true of heads.

I think you have everything well in hand <> one little tip at the ankle <> follow the tendons up the front of the tibia <> they form a little arrow shape that helps the look from the front view.
