phuck man, those pieces are fantastic, the cat-owl-person image in particular, right up my street in terms of style and execution. the owl on it's own has some lovely strokes too, and I love the simple line framing it. Honestly, I could probably go on for while with this, but suffice to say it's great stuff.

    johnny johnny johnny JOHNNY!

holy hell you've gotten so much better...the bird studies are really fun, but as a crit, isn't the bird's hearing organ through an orifice in the top of their head? So if a bird was wanting to listen to some music, it should wear some hat with audio conveying capabilities. the nicer the audio quality, the cushier the headwear. what. am. i. talking. about? haha...

definitely nice work up in here. i've got to get out there for a visit sometime!

great to see the levelling up on all fronts.

Carnifex - Yes sir you're right, thanks!
GuggEmma - Yes you're right about the owl 'ears.' I think they're located behind the eyes under some feathers or something? The owls have been a collaborative effort with a friend and her idea was great so I ran with it Thanks for stopping in! I hope you're well.

Sweet stuff johnny..!! I love how u combined traditional and digital into a great design piece, though i haev problem separating the digital from the traditional. Is the background for the deer piece digital or traditional? It has a really nice watercolor feel to it...

MydrakNEO - The majority of the piece is traditional. The background is an acrylic wash, the deer was drawn in pencil, and then inked over with my trusty brush pen. The only thing digital is the half tone patterns. Funny thing is that I was packing my stuff away and decided to re-work it to a point where I was satisfied. The sketch almost ended up in the trash. Hope you're well and see you soon, dude.

hala - Thanks! You're right about the snout, was just done way too quickly.

    JailHouseRock2 - Thanks!
