Hey, those paintings of the sky are way cool. Are they done in oil? The last batch of characters is wacky I like them. Just wondering, but have you ever been to http://www.saveloomis.org ? If not, you really should! Good luck and keep up the good work.

    HI Justin,

Your sketch/paintings are really good. Keep practicing that; and don't forget to practice more simple shapes, the cylinders cubes and boxes that help define the forms in you pieces; especially important in landscapes with architecture/machines off or miss matching perspectives can really throw off pic that would rock otherwise. Look at your lites and darks, some of your grayscale stuff needs more contrast to create a greater depth. Using the same quantity of darks in the forground and background flattens your pictures to much.

    Thanks
    Marcelo

On the latest one: It reminds me of something from Star Wars, which is a good thing of course XD I hope you made the features on his right side bigger on purpose though. Good work.

I love your work - I can't really give a comment about anything, just a motivating word. I especially like the swamp painting

The painting of the woman's torso is great, it displays form pretty well, only complaint is that her rib cage is a little too big. The drawings are good too, did ya use ref on those? Oh and your environments are cool as always! See ya.

What dan said and try to study face construction and anatomy, for that check loomis, bridgman and do some self potraits where you construct your face up. Keep up the good work.

Last one is nice, only crits are the fog could look better (not that I could do it any better) and the highlite on the rock on the far right looks a little off, maybe it would look better if it were located more inside the contour of the rock? Until next time, keep up the good job.

ditto to what Dan said. I love the skyline and the rocks in that last pic, but especially the clouds and hazy mountains.
    keep working!

Latest one is really cool looking! It might look better with some larger brush strokes though. It's also hard to read some of the forms in the facial area. Still good though, see ya.

I really like the latest one you did, and of course, your environments.. can't say that I'm a fan of the ink faces... I think you did too odd of shadowing on the female face... I find that over-rendering dramatically reduces the apparent attractiveness of female faces.
