Hi! I'm in your sketchgroup. And my names Justin. Cool. Anyways, your mountains are good looking, but they could be better mountains. Right now they seem more like grayish sand dunes. I like the sun up there, and the light play near the middle, but along with a orangeish shade, There would also be heavy shadows. And don't forget- Pointier, more seperated mountains!

Not much here except I think you shuld connect it at the bottom, otherwise a branch that heavy would be bending. Plus it'd look better. other than that, not much crit. No crits on the tank!

Keep it up man! I'm going to assume you did these in Painter? *Wants Painter ='(*

Hey thanks man yea i just joined up in the group, this shall be fun What do you guys think about doing weekly themes?

As for your question, these werent done in painter except the bottom one, the first 2 are photoshop. An yeah, that mountains would be more like dunes.. Maybe i shoulda called them, abduilen dunes...

I have to say that I love that tank pic. I also very much dig the style of the "Bloody Innocence" pic... although that title sounds like a complaint..."That bloody innocence keeps buggering my myth up!"
The top pic looks like a moonscape, but well done.

Those mountains look great. Very strong start to your sketchbook! Like the contrasts on the tank piece, good work.

    Looking forward to more posts.

I like the composition of the forest scene, the bridge balances the business of the trees

The man looks a bit off.. I think it's because the shoulder holding all the weight needs to be down to show that the bag and umbrella have substance.

hey dude sorry, I just saw that I was in the SB group, here it goes:
The enviroments are looking good, though you should do some practice from life/photos, or more if you alreday do well We´re students our hole life.
    and on this painting: http://img148.echo.cx/img148/6981/hi...mbrella4nf.jpg
The face is somewhat of and the hand is to small, and I also think his wrist could be a bit bigger.

You got some good stuff here justin. i think you should use a bit more reference material just to get your eye used to some form and detail. But I also think you should do some stuff completely out of your imagination.
    keep posting,
    Cheers,

On the pic: well its a cool idea but I think it would be much better if you focused on one area and tried to clean it up

Wow, for a 25 min pic, that's pretty good. I'd complain a bit about the composition, since it really doesn't draw your eye to anything in particular, but it looks like you used a ref.

Yup, great stuff. On the red monster, his/her ear on (my) right side looks a little too low, IMO. I'd love to see some anatomy studies or drawings from life. Hope to see more cool stuff by you!
