    Thumbs up Mb Sketchbook

Well I have been reading on the site for the last week or so and finally decide to start my own sketchbook. Figure drawing is definetly a weakness of mine. The forums here have become an inspiration to improve my skills. Time for more practice.

Heres some stuff from the last week or so. Give me as much crit as you want.

Some of the images are cut off or partially double posted. Pages wouldn't fit in my scanner.

Some figure drawings, just some random images I found to draw from.

    more sketches

Some drawing practice from today. The two figure drawings I was happy with. The chest and back area needs more work, but the legs and arms didn't turn on to bad.

Now for some hand drawings. I am horrible at doing them but thats what practice is for.

I will have some more figure drawings up afterwhile here. Along with some older art work. I do not have access to a cam at the moment to get pictures of my larger stuff.

Its good that you are analyzing anatomy, but I what concerns me is the line quality, its very insecure in some ways.
I'd say loosen up amd do some ghoster lines beforehand instead of tackling immediately the form.
Anyway it will come with time, keep it up.

Yeah I definetly agree with you on the line problem evil. I have a problem with being very sketchy when I am doing my lines. I tend to press to hard with the pencil when I am drawing.

Here are a few completed drawings of mine. Not much interms of the human figure besides the one head drawing of Dale Jr. Got onto a horse stint for a week or two.
