    9 Creature Horror/Fanatsy

These are other creature designs, I've done some time ago. I eventually want to paint them. After getting some input from my other piece which was helpful, I thought I 'd post a few more drawings. It's been help to see other people's posts, most of all the tutorials and techniques are helpful. I look forward putting up more of my current peices soon.

You have some great skill in these concepts. I suggest you work a little more on yuor anatomy. I know that they are freaky monsters and creatures but they can be traced to the human body and its form. Great stuff so far, keep posting.

    My Sketchbook- C&C very welcome

You have a wicked imagination. The medusa-like creature has great design elements and rendered textures. Very dramatic. The character's pose in the 1st post is what I like the best here. The attutude is strong, forceful. I do agree with previous comment. A little anatomy and design exploration in opposing muscle groups, can furthur push the grand gestures that your characters possess and will bring your work to new levels.

Excellent fun stuff! Minor issues with foreshortening and anatomy but otherwise dynamite!

One thing you could work on to really make things pop is shading the planes of your figures to show the form better, right now they are marvelously detailed but could have more mass and form.

    Keep em coming!

This is some great stuff. I would like to see you color some of them. The snake chic is badass. Usually when artist draw a character like that one ,they come out pretty corny.

    ... thanks

thanks for the input... that's one of my goals is working on anatomy. I'll have some sketches i'm working on which I'm using to prep up my portfolio. As for painting... it's been a while, I need to practice. Also, I'm trying to work on more background and perspective.

Wow great stuff, I love the one with heads on the spikes. Maybe add some shadows on the ground under the characters to make them a bit more grounded, since some of them seem to be floating around a bit.

Anyway keep making the cool stuff

You have a great concept thinking ability. Absolutely love the last character with the swords for hands. I agree with the rest of the guys with alittle bit of anatomy you'd be unstoppable. Keep it up and lets see some perspective pieces.
