Yes, Happy New Year!!!

I'm going to go ahead and put a final deadline on this project for the 3rd. . .I hope that's cool for everyone.
Also, I'm going to be taking a little break on the activities to get some stuff in order for the revamp of the activity, in the meantime- If you are missing the activity environment you can visit the ERS forums and sign up for the activites there- I have a couple spots open for an activity starting in the next couple days. . . just to let you know.

I hope to see great things in the new year from everyone!!!

Hey JoeSlucher, those who know how to use colors are the winners, while mine in comparison to your are lame, I really love yours, can't wait to see panel 2 finished in a higher resoluted version, with clean speech bubbles and clean texts

... good job...
edited comment: too late to change it, i know, but what happend to your panel 4? why is spallders pose so unnatural?! why does he walk so stiff?!
also, you could call me nitpicker, but in panel 4 spallders boots are, from my point of view, much too high, compared to panel 1. but - People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones ^^....

Just to let everyone know, I'll be checking in tonight to leave my comments. So far, things are looking good. If you need an extension, feel free to pm me or post letting me know.

Also, I start the first activity over at the ERS forums the 5th. . . we have a couple spots open, so head over and join up if you are interested. Thanks to those who already have, but I'd still like to see a couple more.

DonCoyote-Thanks for the compliment. Good call on the boot length. I actually think it was because his lower legs were really short in the first panel. I updated with a fixed version. I also went back and painted over some of my lines and changed some edges. I'm glad you think he's walking stiff. I imagine him walking like a AT-AT or something.

Thanks Don...Appreciate it...I didn't know we had to do the text too...I re-read the instructions and I didn't see anything about it...Then again, it was at 2:00 in the morning and I may or may not have been seeing things...In any case, looking forward to seeing everyone on the next activity...Cheers!!!

Kanji - This looks really good, it has a traditional ink feel to it - great colors, layout, etc. Top notch.

Joe - I like the "painterly" style you have going on here, I know if you had more free time it would 10x more awesome then it already is - I thik is great and reminds me of the coloring style being used on DC's Vertigo line back in the early 90's

Don Coyote - Very clean coloring, rendering could be a little better. I think the colors (especially the red) are way too saturated for a night scene. good job, and I hope you stick around for the future activities.

Well, that's it. . . my last post commenting these for awhile. When I come back to these with the new forum and look, hopefully I'll see everyone there. However, if you want more activities the Empty Room Studios forum is where i'll be, we just started an activity and I'd love to see you there.

Hey, nikotem, i was looking for the description again cause it seems i always forgot one part of the dialog, and i saw your final design, i wouldn't have awaited a final version after the long time... all i can say is that some variety in the textures (houses, Clothes...) would help alot, but all in all it looks good....
