Amazing work. Where I'd like to be someday. I love the line work.

Are you doing your final coloring on those soldiers and stuff digitally?

thought my ears were burning GunTrouver!

small update, not too impressed with these pages, but there you go:

only one thing worth salvaging (maybe), inspired by Umberto Eco's Baudolino:

And one in a series of die,Robot! Hopefully I'll explore more of this future luddite-ary (?) now and then. Technically wanted to 'mix' mediums in a vague editorial manner:

For the first time in my life I have an appropriate excuse for no updates and shoddy workmanship : Mia Rae and Lyra Eve, born 15th of January 2006. These two little salarygirls are my finest work ever. Despite being 7 weeks early they proved all the experts wrong by being absolutely perfect. That said, they've needed a lot of care spending 3 weeks in hospital. Now they are home the chaos can commence! So excuse me if my updates become even less frequent...

To everyone who commented, thanks, as always, it means a great deal, thankyou for taking the time.

Guess I may have to change my output.. Dragonettes anyone?

ps: Lyra is named after a constellation in case anyone was thinking elsewise...

    wow.

did all of Saturday's sketchbook threads disappear somewhere..? Man, computers... no wonder people treat 'em mean:

have one more of this series to get finished for now, but back at work so who knows when that'll be done!

seeing as I'll not be updating with my own stuff so regularly, I'll attempt to stop by all you guyses books and say hellooo.

    thanks all again!

    Congrats on the little salarygirls

Really dig what you did with the Baudolino character. I just finished reading the book 3 weeks ago and your interpetation brings back warm memories. Also good work on the Aguirre stuff a few pages back, you captured Klaus Kinski really well imo

    All the best

Congratulations! Hey, the last few updates have been very sweet, as well.

You know, I got half a dozen e-mail notifications all at once, and with the title "bad dog", I thought I was in trouble.

    Yup, it's all about me.

awesome, updates! really nice set of new characters, and the two more "finished" images (baudolino and tilt are very nice indeed. i'd like to see more of those toned drawings like baudolino.

Man, I love this sketchbook so much! The characterizations, the hands, the line quality, etc etc. It's something I could stare at all day long.
    Congrats on the newborn girls.
p.s. If you never want to do 3D work again, I'd recommend putting out some prints and/or books because you have a helluva following. The graf sketches would sell like hotcakes on t-shirts for the hipster urban types.
