yeah, i hate this day so much, so far it's been the worst day of this year...
i'm sure most of you know the story from IRC...

here's what happened to me today...

there's this girl i really like, so far she and i are are pretty good freinds...
she has a BF...so i can't really date her or anything, but i still have feelings for her. one of my freinds tell me he's taking her to the hospital and that she was staying at his place for the night. also telling me that she plans on breaking up wiht her bf next week and dating my friend. i was really disappointed, but he said it was an april fools joke. and then later in the evening i get a call from the hospital, and it sounded exactly like her and she asked me why i'm upset and asked my how i feel about her. i told her everything and then at the last minute she says it's shawna (her stupid freind who hates me so much) and i was paralyzed. this wasn't funny shit to me, i was freaked out insanely...i felt so stupid...she luaghed, talked shit and is probably going to tell her what happened in a negative perspective. this stupid april fools "joke" made my day ruined...Never have i had such a bad april fools day....

so yeah, share your april fools day. i wanna know how it went for you guys.

Obviously your friend hasn't expressed any attraction for you to her, why else would she think your feelings would be so funny? I hate to say it bro but you are in the friend zone, a zone in which only a select few have the knowledge and ability to break out of.

The best thing to do in this situation is to play it as cool as possible for as long as possible. Do not call that girl up (in fact if she calls you rarely (and I do mean rarely) return them), laugh if the other girl ever brings it up, shrug it off smile and agree with any joke. You basically need to act as though you have moved on, not that you ever cared but that you did but hey that time is over and it's her loss not yours.

This will work either way if you are moving on or if you are still trying to steal her heart. She needs to see you as a man that has something to offer her not a puppy dog that is chasing her heels. Hope this helps and doesn't sound harsh.

anyways this girl has a BF, she knows how i feel..but i'm letting those feelings go. she and i are just freinds from now on. even if i dated her, it wouldn't last. cuase i have no job, no license, and no car yet....soon i will. her BF has all that, really i've talked to him and such. he's a nice guy and we get along with no problem at all. i think he deserves her more than me, anyways if she's happy wiht him i'm happy for her. she isn't the only girl in the world, there are many others. so yeah i don't have a problem with letting her go. i'm moving on.

Holy shit I didn't realize how young you are, for some reason I thought you were an old man like me. That changes a lot, you haven't gone through the relationship phase of your life yet, also known as the guaranteed laid period which will change you drastically. You could definetly get her if once or after you come into this phase you guys still know each other. But like you said you guys are just gonna be friends, though if once you get a girlfriend she starts acting weird as if she is interested this is the reason why.
