first you need a host who "hosts" your pictures. free Imagehosting is something you will find at photobucket.com

than you have to type in the following "code" (IMG)http://URL of our image(/IMG)
    NOTE= Replace the )( aginst []

    Welcome!

I'm sure there's an answer in a thread for this somewhere, but it's no trouble! And besides, the people here are nice! I use www.imageshack.us for hosting my images... you go to their site, click browse, pick the file you want to upload, and then copy the HTML code into your post and there you go!

Hope this helps and welcome to CA!

That posts a thumbnail, there should be a tag for the actual image... and you don't need the html tags you added... usually people don't like thumbnails because if there's a lot it's hard to flip through a sketchbook, but that's very correct so far!

That's an awesome image, but try not to exceed 800x800 pixels. You can lower the filesize without losing in quality in PS... always nice to have small as possible files for the dialup kids, like me, haha.

You have lots of cool stuff here. I especially like the skull (both versions) and the tower defense stuff. Cool poses on them.

keep doing what you're doing. something to try iinstead of drawing the videogame characters that you see, work from photos of real people and make them into concept art. Like take a good photo of a football player and change his pads and helmet into space armor. or use the photo as the basis for the pose of one of your robots guarding tower 13.

You've got some nice stuff in here, man. Definately have an imagination on you! Just continue to develop your skills by drawing as much from life as you can. Some studies (anatomy, perspective, etc.) would help you out quite a bit too. Maybe put your creations in environments? Also, work on laying down those values. Some of the pen stuff is neat but your pencils need some work. Very thumbnailish. Not bad but not developed enough. I'd say that work from life and refz will help you a bit. Just keep at it. You're definately going to get somewhere if you keep working hard. Great work thus far.

Red face Todays theme is! : Half-life!

Not long ago I bought the half-Life:raising the bar, book that contains a bunch of info on half life and half life 2, not to mention a few mods . Well I decided i wanted to draw all the monsters shown in the book, because i just love there design. ( if not every single thing in the book!) Yeah so none of these were made up by me, all redrawn from screen shots from the game, or drawings they had. Ya ya ya i know dont do that but i just had to! so take a gander!
    2002 scribble scrabble

these 3 were drawn from screen shots, and the freeman one was outta my head. ;D

Awesome energy man -- keep this up everday and you'll be trippling your skills before you know it : D

It's always great to meet a Starcraft fan --- man 4 years of my life belong to that game

keep your energy, always carry your sketchbook with you, and always have some printed reference --- that's how I bulked my mental-reference-library --- just always have photo-images you can draw inspiration from.

    good luck

    Defintely progress here.

    I especially like the glasses

If you want to develop your character drawings to an advanced level
you have to go for anatomy!

    Do some studies,
try www.saveloomis.org (you may know the books!)

Its all about practice, concentration, knowing your tools and well... practice once again!

    very very cool stuff

i like all your sketches and like the other guy said. a lot of imagination in here. Keep it up. Maybe you can finish some part of your sketches? I always like that look of a sketch where there is a bit of it that has been taken to the final penciling stage. I guess the question would be: which bit? *S*

we've already talked about this and ill be repeating a lot of what has been said. definetly work on your core subjects in art like anatomy and doing a lot of studies. you have the ideas but they wont be as executed correctly unless you have all those fundamentals down. baby steps!

focus on one thing at a time draw a bunch of still lifes! drawing from life is huge! you'll improve dramatically if you do this all the time. drawing from photos and things of that nature are also beneficial! always keep observing and think about why things interest you...analyze and break things down... be a sponge

keep looking at other great artists and analyze their work..dont be afraid to ask questions either..

anyways just keep drawing. you've got some interesting ideas, but just keep pushing. if you see a flaw in your drawing fix it! dont leave and get lazy.

Definately good stuff in here, interesting designs.
Try to do some anatomyreference drawings too and if you have the chance try to draw from life, it will train your observational skills.

hey man mice illustrations i can definitly tell your into this stuff! keep on drawing ma friend!
----try this! try spending more time on one piece... or make a scene with a couple charcters that you so finely crafted... give it a foreground and backround color motion like as if it was a finished illustration for a comic book! ...yeah thats what i really want to see you do!

study anatomy and shading techniques... don't be afraid to take some classes to boost your studio art skills and keep drawing you have a nice head start on this thing!

From what I can see, you have very good design elements, however, you need to work on composure- the actual drawing itself, not just teh concepts. I cant really C/c on that part, you gotta life draw your way out of it! =D Kerep going man!
