Haha.. When I see your stuff. I know there soo much that I still want to draw. And need to learn
Like that last digital piece of yours, but why not try to play around some with texture/brushes? I think that could improve alot. Right now it kinda looks like it was painted with one brush, and perhaps some opacity pressure sensitivity O:

    Sluta inte posta!

Oh. you were a graffiti artist? some time ago you wrote that your brother was.
Hmm, interesting. May ask what was the motivation? you felt bad seeing an empty space or you made some kind of statement? Wonder how it effects, probably a very good way to remove any fear of drawing/ painting. I have no fear to draw, but feel uncomfortable painting. Don't like thick lines at all. And painting with spray and have no other way to do, probably helps. I can see why you paint almost without any sketch before.

I'm sitting here and kind of want to shoot some more questions about your childhood and life in general. And I promised not to ask. And I want to break the promise. It is more fun on the other side of fence. So I wish I saw this image clearer, were you with crowd painting with spray? was it legal? was it exciting? Did you fight a lot in your childhood? How did you try to resolve conflict situation? I think you confronted it and faster than the opposite side, and only when you needed it for your own safety. The best defence is a good offence, something like this? Did you like people? Do you now? I know you do like your friends, but in general? Did you prefer to experience all life happenings, bad and good, or you were trying to make your world smaller, safer. There is nothing wrong with the last, btw. Buddhism actually is about making your world smaller, well I interpret it like this. When you decrease your emotional attachments and strong desires your world is getting smaller, don't you agree. I admit it might be more complicated than that. But when I tried to live like this one period in my life, kind of distancing myself from life fire, I felt some kind of happiness and evenness and in the same time it was like I didn't live. Sigh. I'm talking to myself for sure, sad fact.

    OK, back to art.
What impressed me the most in the update is the cool blue highlights and shadows and the combination of it with brown color of the rest. I like this very much, how you show the turn of the form not with shade of brown, but with this blue highlights, I think it is beautiful effect. And I like how it defines form here and there, almost undetectable. Very beautiful. Wish you did it in the same subtle manner painting his hand, but I have to say, the rough blue outline of fingers adds a lot to nervousness and even has some association with electric shock for me.
This very cool blue is very soulless, very rough, as I feel.
And the second thing I looked with curiosity is the drawing of the sort of fantasy boar, especially how you drew his back legs. This is one liner silhouette. I don't remember seeing it in your art before, it was always several attempts to define forms. So this is lovely elegant outline of the creature, very fine and it gives a form right away without any shading. And it looks truthful. I like it very, very much.
I btw like your very compact style of drawing too, your very busy compositions, it is like sitting inside of your greedy for information brains, never boring. So 2,3,4 pages are very interesting. "Dream big and you may never wake up" very interesting, almost answer to my questions of living on full capacity. But it is still a question of interpretation of this ambivalent phrase.
Figure of going away fantasy soldier is very nice on this page, but there are a lot of interesting images on these pages; Multy eyed head, naked female creatures, face of the heavy guy with many, many fat folds.

OK. See you, Hurri, may life be sunny for you too and thanks million times for being such a sweet guy. I hope all your current stresses are short living. Feel sad knowing that you have them now. Not fair.

Ok I have been wondering, even though I know it differs per sketch, but about how long do you spend on these pencil sketches? Also that demon babe as one big boo-tay. She can probably shake that shit like no other. Keep up the good work.

your sketches are real cool and fun to look at, and that digital looks great, it seems though that you could spend a bit more time on the sketches and make them look sharper so they look as tight as possible.

    Hejsan!
awesome stuff you have insanely good control over values and texture, it is real easy to see what kind of material something is made up of in your sketches.
I love this one http://www.bjornhurri.com/sb/06/May/conan_is_cool5.jpg especially the dude in the background swinging at the soldiers, great sense of movement there!
Where do you go to life drawing anyway? Im in stockholm and I cant seem to find any good places.
    Keep on sketching
