The proportions are a bit off here and there it seems, as is foreshortening in places. Then again, it's just sketches

hello again

another good update sir. there's such a whimsical sense to your drawings that i really love. i do have a question though i hope you can answer.

for those two...the muscles in the first ones face and in the second one's body. are they based on human anatomy and such, or do you make them up? i wonder this cause ive always liked the way you handled the muscles in your creations and i wanted to know and understand your thought process behind it.

I noticed on your pencils that you very rarely if ever have any lines to deligate the general forms. I guess my question is, how do you go about seting up such clean pencil work? Things seem really mapped out and in the right places, do you set it up before hand or just go at it?

MonkeYoakum : majority of the times i just go at it. Letting the lines lay as they are drawn. I don't use an eraser either so. Hope it helps a bit hehe..
