it was a fast one, but i got some parts right, its alittle out of place and stuff, but i like it anyways, i wasnt aiming for photorealism either so..

cool model.. clean it up though.. there ar some bad verts on the face that don't make shape in any way and just detroy the structure..

also watch your meshflow.. like on his titty. just look all over.. try to have a nice all over flow.. edges going from A to A an thus looping all around.. like circles around its eyes.. mouth.. on around his eye and mouth connectin under the chin..

from just above the nosewings to under the mouth.. etc etc.. u probably feel these as an awesome lead artist.. clean it up..

animations are cool to.. but blend them more.. u really see the keyframes

Haha...funny animations...I think the head nods could be toned down a lot and slowed down, foot taping makes sence and looks good. Sorry I'm just assuming you want crits on this stuff. This model you've posted is cool but the topology could be improved. Try to make it all quads, and avoid poles. I think your paint skillz are awesome.

I couldn't see the anims. Crit on yer model; I think the arm lacks definition. Looks too much like a cylinder now. Push the def. on the shoulder-area as well. Makes the shapes read better I think. This might be stuff your planning to do, though.. hehe... Like people have said before me: watch your edgeloops. If your planning on deformations in your anims later, this is pretty crucial.

Cool concept, though. Can't wait to see an update! Are you going to texture it as well?

Hey, Bjorn! Really liked that portrait step-by-step. Do you plan on touching it up or just leave it as it is?

As for the 3D Model, as I'm just barely getting into 3D outside of architecture, I would have to say my only critique is that on the side view on the left of the post, you can see the bed roll (I'm assuming it's a bed roll... anyway the roll) on his back, but it seems to be attached by only one of the faces, kind of looks like it's been welded on, you know? As I said, I'm only starting with 3D modeling so can't say much, personally I think it looks great and you're on your way to having it turn out nicely.

big, I think there is a subtle mistake on the perspective
in the anlge of the toraxic cage, any way; its still superb work

Your beast Reminds me of the guy that had his head sat on by an elephant. And the name is cool with its intertwined meaning and jibberish.
I had a couple characters with names like that for a project, but the names proved to confusing for the audience when I pitched my story. There names where Athrium Extor and Biblicus Scullus. Also, too conterovercial. I changed the names to Arthur and Big Book of Knowledge. hehe
