Keep working on your painting, you're definitely making progress!
That last piece looks nice, but I feel like it's lacking the proper drama suited for the situation.
Perhaps you could try increasing the contrast of the cobra, and define the teeth a bit clearer and sharper to make it seem more vicious?

Nice Sheppard copies. I love his anatomy books for their emphasis on the surface .
The skyline was beautiful on fire.

The contrast between the first and last pages is ridiculous.
