A tip, would maybe add some highlights to define your iris some more. Your colours are nice in general, good job! =)

Thank you for the brush set, it's nice to experiment around with new brushes.. I only use a couple myself but will check this pack out to see if there's some ones which catch my fancy =)

AND FINALLY i received my cintiq !!!! after one year of waiting. i'm so excited about it, i can't figure out what to do with first

i tried some inking with it and decided to get into animation using it.

Love the fish-eye stuff. Also, great detail above that door in the second scan of #757. I think this piece is particularly effective because of the shaded areas. You use a lot of lineart otherwise, so it's nice to see some value work in there.

Congrats on the cintiq- I'm expecting even more now! Nice animation. Your ball seems to be dragged towards the ground as it approaches the surface. Was that intended? Looks as if the ball is alive and 'jumping' rather than just a flexible object.

knut : thanks for your interests. each one is about 1 h (if i'm concentrated) to 1h30

i did a bowling animation but my mac got lost i decided i would redo it later and advance to the balloon exercice (yeah i made a plan following sheridan school)

Sweeet, everyone else seems to be getting Intuos 4's... lull.. except me! =) Nice bro, I'm thoroughly jealous of your tablet now =) Lull =) Sweet you added shadow to your buildings, it adds some nice character to the drawing imho =) For a more realistic effect, less squash and stretch basically, jus suggest it nearer to the bounce, it feels squashed as its descending from the ceiling.. unless you're going for a more cartoony look, in which case it looks good =)

You planning on going to Sheridan? =)

Kungfoowiz: thanks being jaleous but it's a Cintiq 21 (more reason to be jaleaous) . No seriously, good point on noting the extreme squash, i wanted to test since i did a more normal one. No i'm not going to sheridan, just copying their assignements.

other animation exercices, it's seems boring things but i learn a lot wich is quite exciting (thinking of future animations i can do)

i figured out later than the page is shorter than the other resting pages

ZOMG cintiqqq! =) Drawing is very good in the book anim =) I'm most impressed =) This may sound anal but some secondary anim could be like the other pages moving slightly, jus an idea.. loving this recent stint of anim, it's totally qwl =) Keep up bro =)

think exercice is to chose a character (porco rosso) make it turn and make an expression change. i hope i will do better in near futur

Wow!! Cool animations zou I recognised Porco Rosso straight away, great job on the expression. The only crit is that there's a lot of time-lag on the animations and they keep leaving trails, might just be my computer at work though. The box one works best and that one looks really complicated, nice work.

The first post of #763 is really nice! The little bit of shading is very effective. Keeo up the great work, you can see the improvement. Did you draw the fish-eye scenes from a photo, or i did you make them up on the spot? they look good

perhaps this is an early exercise, but i did the flour sack exercice wich consist on animating the sack with some attitude.
it would be kind if you can tell me the story in this animation so i can see if it's clear or not.

Love those typical porches in #763. Medine seems beautiful! You're also improving on perspective.

Those animations are a lot of fun. Especially the book page and Porco Rosso stand out to me. Doing these animations also seems to be helping out with your line economy. Those last portraits are very effective with few lines.

Here's what I can understand from the sack animation. At first, he's cautious. he then looks closely at the sign and ponders what it sais. He is startled and falls in shock. He takes his chance and jumps across the fence. (The jump seems a bit funny because he is jumping sideways). The sign was apparently a warning about things falling from the sky (object itself is hard to see; a meteor?)

Really enjoy the animations. Anything particular you're inspired by?

Very skillful work in here! Those city drawings are really nice. I was wondering about the first few, they have a fisheye (i believe? :p) perspective. Did you do that out of imagination of did you take a photo with such modus and drew from that? Because to me it would seem extremely difficult to make something like that up!
