Hello, I never know where to begin on these things but since I am just starting a project I will show the process on that. Here is some sketches I am doing for a commission with a woman I have been communicating over email. She wants a family of 4 mice and 3 princess's. Well here the different roughs of the mouse family so far since I am not sure what style she is really wanting.So the style may really change after I talk to her. So as I make progress I will put them up. And I will put up the princess's up as well. Plus I will put up any other things I do as well.

ya, something in color but here are some items have made or like for halloween from vpet sites I work at so that's why I watermarked them.

good start with your sketchbook

I really like your drawing in your second post and think the mouse family starts to look great in your third, but it feels like the legs of the girls in your last post could be a bit longer in my opinion. Keep it up tho, i'm curious to see your final results

Thanks Lav, and I have talked to the client and have a better idea what she is looking for so I am really updating the princesses. They will have basically the same dresses but more disney-ish.

And here is the update on the mice family. And I know I have to do some updates and changes on them as well.

I have to clean them up a bit but basically these are the final designs for the mice parents.I will get the kids up soon then I can get to the fun coloring part.

Here is an update on the princesses.I am waiting for a reply before I do anything more with them.I know there still some anatomy. I can fix but I really want to make sure this is what my client is looking for.

I have been busy with my commission on painting on windows but here is an update on the princess's. I need to make some small changes but its close to being nailed done. And I will start on different colors as well.

i like the mouse parents, especially the dad

if you still have time left tho, i would make the body of the girl's teddybear a bit smaller or move the arms up (looks like he's having a very long neck now)

Thanks Lav, I didn't even notice. And here is another version of princesses that's really different from the other. I will color the other soon since I like them as well. But I think the client is looking for something more like this.Its more basic and I know some of the anatomy is off. But its similar to the examples she came up with.So I just have to see what happens.And different color combo's to see how she likes them.

Those are some pretty nice drawings. Although, the women look pretty much the same, maybe you could try practicing drawing different faces. Also try do a clothed figure study once in a while, it'll make your stuff seem more plausible.

I know this isn't really a sketch but its another thing I was working on.My local library commissioned my to paint their windows. First off it was weird just painting on glass but overall it was really fun to do. Sorry that the windows don't totally match up but you get the idea.

To get into the holiday spirit a quick background I did for a pet site.There is suppose to be a xmas tree in the middle but that wasn't drawn by me so I took it out here.

I have some other sketches I will put in but I always forget to update this so I am trying to get better. Anyways here is some quick sketches of people getting tickets or food when I was sitting in the theater waiting for my parents to get out of another movie. And the other doodles I just came up with when there wasn't a crowd.

i like the process of princesses, they look nice

tho i think the last one could be a bit taller (the proportions look like she might have small leggs imo)
