    Hey Mr.Alvarez
Wow, great start man, the last drawing looks awsome. I think the only problem is that, her hand is a little bit big.

Looking forward to see more from u.

I especially like your monsters, they have a classical/ mythological feel to them.

Here are 2 very fast sketches, this is what happens when you rush in shading

(shade + Anatomy study -from the behind- )

    hehe.. looking good anyways
just like my studies some month ago

advice : take a look at ur anatomy studie..

u can see the back and the teat and the arm.. at our body there are particular areas like this.. where lotsa lines flow into 1 and got seperated again and create 2 new muscles..

the important thing here is to get the right line into the right shape..
ur arm line is in front of the teat - but the teat is still behind the back*stomach line .. otherwise the teat would be on the back or side

the buttmuscle line penetrates inside the leg shape.. it creates the volume of the butt muscle ..kinda gap

or when u see head from somekind of above.. u see the jaw line flowing into the throat shape.. it creates a gap too same with nose details

take a look at ur hand.. thumb.. move it slowly and see who the skin moves .. it creates winkles and lil canyons.. u can use the index finger line as base.. then u flollow ur index finger and see how this line flows into the hand...

hm u got any burne hogarth books ? he has drawen these lines to get idea about the flow and stuff.. very good

whenever u take a loot at somethign .. u find these lines .. i think these lines save the objects 3d look.. they create layers which creates a feeling for distance and volume

ill prepare some examples and post em here

    http://www.fragtasia.de/bob/2dstuff/...ook/tut/h1.jpg

    http://www.fragtasia.de/bob/2dstuff/...ook/tut/b1.jpg

    ################################################

do some analysis and try to find these lines.. how and where they flow into eachother.. when u feel good at drawing the body simplified.. u can learn the muscles and anatomy stuff - to know which muscle defines which line

    keep drawing !

    Good stuff so far!

I would suggest you to catch some photo or
draw something from life (even better!)
take some more time for this
at least 30 min, try to get the proportion, volume and shading
no speedy... try to get as much details as you can get

so just exercise...and have some sweat and some fun

Hey, man, I like where you'r goin' with the big noses!
As said above a good idea is to start drawing from referenses and from life.
    You'll learn ten times faster.

    kepp it up!

    Hi,
I admire your line quality - it's very good and exact!
But I think your shading is too smooth - try some really aggressive shading , getting darkest black at some parts.
try a soft pencil like 8B - that will give your drawings more depth!

    Here are 2 new drawings,

I tried your advice Imageproog with using darker tones, this is what came up

This one took me a while, well the rendering was sort of a pain, but I think it

    was worth it

    Howdy, Alvarez!

Good sketches! You've gotten some great critiques, but I think one might lead you in the wrong direction.

Even though Amir is awesome and learning a lot, I came up with this after I had noticed something. I noticed you tend to draw your heads a a little too small, which would indeed make hands and other parts appear too large! In your recent updates, the heads look fine, but in the batter piece and some others, the heads are small, making other things look too large, get it?

Easy fix though, mate! I guess everyone draws something too little at one time or another! Mine is hands... had to get over that one, hehe.

Keep working on everything! Good potential here. Good that you're studying anatomy! Try to get some more studies in and work on the proportions and you'll be on your way!

Welcome to CA and good work! I'll check back.
