Not a topic idea, per se, but mr. dougbot's tutorial gave me an idea. What if the winner of a COW then posts a 'how I did it' tutorial? This could be added to the winners circle or in a new thread (e.g. winner's how to tut). I may be on crack, but dougbot's timely addition helped me big time.
    Peace!

hmmmm....i don't know....this could deter members, who don't have time or just don't want to do tutorials...if someone wants to do one it's ok, but it shouldn't be something like a rule...

That's cool - an 'optional tutorial' sounds good. Thanks for considering it.

I think sirens would be interesting to do. It would definitely be challenging but if we don't challenge ourselves then we will never learn. To be a little more specific how about "Sirens of the Deep"?

I think this can be taken many different ways other than the mythical creature. It might even be more interesting to do if you look at it as a warning siren. A creature that creates a warning siren or song for others in the deep whatever. Deep could be water, space, caverns......it's up to you.

    Creature Topics

Just brainstorming here... forgive any duplicates from this or past posts.

    "Bladeface"
Mouthless Creature (how does it get food?)
    Undead Creature
Tracking Creature for Alien Police Force (Like a Bloodhound)
    "Gaurdian of the Gate"
    It Lives Under the Cemetery
    Swamp Scavanger
Warbeast (A creature used in battle)
Summoned Creature (Brought forth by magic)
    Boneless Creature
    Feeds on Nightmares
    The Ultimate Hunting Trophy
    Planet Eater
    When Species Collide
Leviathan Killer (What hunts the giants?)

OK, these are just a few... will try to come up with some more as time goes by.

    Cow

How about a creature birthed from human ignorance...

I dont know how it would have spawned..maybe on a metaphysical level, but in any case, its primary functions would include things feeding on ignorance of course, and in the process eating the sensibilities of its vicitms leaving them devoid of motivation, dreams, and energy.

It would reproduce by completely taking over a humans ability to function, which would spawn a new 'nignog' inside the humans soul. Can also affect other creatures, except for the fact that other creatures generally tend to have strong instincts, which do not allow the breeding of 'nignogs'. However, dogs are one exception

A manifestation of the thoughts, desires, and emotions of an individual. The depths of the soul made real. Different traits/characteristics of the creature can represent the feelings and desires of that person whether voiced or not. As in those secrets you keep hidden inside formed into something that is yourself and yet separated from you...

I don't know. It sounded sort of cool... If it might help then great.
