i like your play with proportions, moving away from the classical to experiment is always good. viva le grotesk! I hate when people follow the same guidelines to drawing faces and just change the hair. haha.

nice, these are some pretty cool environments. I like the city one and the bigger thumbnail at the top. Do you plan on incorporating any into a fullly rendered scene?

hey man, love your head studies, Funchal, Madeira view, and clouds. Your digital stuff look real stiff, don't hatch the same line more than 2 times and be more loose. Good stuff man

When drawing achetecture of a reference sometimes it helps to find the VP on the ref then also place it on the sketch you are doing of it. Maybe for doing a full scene you could block everything out to get the composition and values down and then use different references for the details (colors, textures, etc). I'm amazed how much detail you squeezed into thse little houses on the left.

Your improving, your environments look great,as for the faces I would suggest studying the eye at different angles. The eyes on that woman above are both drawn as if they were both straight forward, also her mouth's kinda far down and doesn't wrap around her face.

As for rendering messin' up a good drawing,I do it all the time myself too,but don't let it stop you,it's part of the learning process it'll get better.

    Last page of the sketchbook.

New sketchbook. This paper is much smoother.

Feels like the studies help. The eyes fit in much better now i think.
