    cool

i really like your renderings. i do think you should do a lot of studies though when it comes to the figure. just keep doing it everyday and working with an anatomy book or even picking an artist and viewing how he breaks down the human figure. other than that i like what you have got.

    Howdy Oven Glove!

Your piece from January 23rd looks great, man! Good job with the values and shading, real clean.

Keep working with the life/figure drawings! They look good! A little anatomy and more figure drawing never hurt anyone!

Keep it up, I'll check back in on you soon.

heroic the book i am using is - anatomy for the artist by daniel carter and michael courtney. the anatomy diagrams are ok in the book but the illustrator tends to but black outlines around everythin, which just dont look good. i use about half and half that book and the net.

some more studies today. still on arms, ive been trying to work on how the arm connects to the body.

just some quick sketches done in the pub tonight, i have a little a5 sketch book that ive started to craay about. i have to be quick when im drawing because you dont know how people are going to react if they see u drawing them. plus in an english pub theres a chance you could get headbutted for looking at someone elses girlfriend nevermind drawing them.

i think you are drawing too consciously. u need to be more loose in those observation studies. just let the pen run all over the page, be gestural. im sure ull be surprised as to what u learn from doing that. it will reflect in the drawings you do when u actually have time to sit down and render.

if u think im talking nonsense (which i do) just ignore me.

Hey oven g love- Nice progress u've got here. Continue with the anatomy studies. In your drawings, i figured out that your human blocks are not very right. So, u've better work more on that.

The shading of the cloth is great, really nice lighting.

    post more.
    Keep it up .
