silentbrain - never went to academy - I really didn't like their program and I'm not impressed with their portfolio (your work is badass tho) we should chill sometime! I'm back in napa.

It's a bummer your future takes you to other places besides Ringling (Florida still sucks). I know your art is at the front of your brain, and I wish you the best of luck.

As, far as your most recent image goes. I have to say I liked the warm dusty orange one better. You've taken some of the color out in the recent steps in favor of a "blluer" atmosphere, but I think you can still do it with orange and would recommend putting it back in. Just some thoughts. I wanna hear what you've been up to

Panda! Thanks for taking a look at my stuff again! I saw you at the Seattle workshop, but I didn't know if you remembered me, so I didn't approach you haha.

Do you remember once giving me some advice on how to draw hands? That I should think of them as abstract shapes and not as a palm with four figners and a thumb etc. etc. Well, I didn't really understood at that time, but now I do! Haha, thanks a lot for that tip. I guess sometimes it just takes a while to sink in.

No more evil panda. Evil Lake! Thats all good bro. Since this thread is dead now. I will say a few words. I like this last image, tough I wish I could see more detail in this last piece. Also, I wish to see you could go a little more darker in rendering. Thats all.

Totally dig those thumbnails. The WIPs are very nice. I have to say that I like all of the previous versions more than the latest.
I guess it's the hue change. Also, careful with that red cape - it's getting a bit strong in the later versions.
