    Hanging by a moment

I'm working on this as a concept illustration for an eventual comicbook.

This guy is holding on tight because.. well.. err...

Thats why I posted it here. I'm fresh out of ideas on what could be down there.

First I was thinking of a Great White shark, but that might just be to ordinairy.
I also have some problems with his right foot (I hate drawing feet) and I'll spend some more time on it. I know the hands are really big, thats just my style.

    any ideas?

extrem 3point perspective city like hes really high up there

I think that he kinda looks like hes on a derigable (war blimp) it would have to be moving slow for the relatively cool exspression on his face

second I think hes cralling around an junked up industrial plant will wires hanging around and collasped beams

    Lightbulb

If you have animals in mind I think maybe an aligator or two. Snakes would be cool, but i think maybe to much time would be involved in drawing them. if you want to keep a nautical theme an octopus would be a good choice. You could do some interesting things with the tentacles. A dog lunging for his derier would give it a humorous appeal, I think also. Maybe one idea will be a hit for you. Have fun, and be sure to post the finished peice.

    Thanks guys!

Indeed, I had a nautical feel to it, but a cityscape could also be kickass cool...
perhaps I'll make several variations, just to see which is best.
