Patdzon, Just looked at your update, I'm enjoying so much. Actually, after that I don't want to draw myself, I want to look at yours, not sure if you will like that outcome from looking at your art. Come on update more often. These drawing from every day life have such a nice calm story-telling mood. They effect me in a very good way, They calm my nerves. Really want you post more and actually I want to see some drawing with composition of several people in it with objects, some events, shortly put, I want to see more finished work from you, really want it. And I want to see how you use colors, very interesting to know that about you. I think they will be subdued, reserved, but who knows?
All drawings from new update are very much to my taste.

Sve, I still have a LOT to learn. haha. It's just that, I strongly believe that drawing is the foundation to great Art. Even if you mastered anatomy, or if you have mastered paint handling, etc., you won't go anywhere if you don't develop your drawing ability, only mediocrity will await you. But I will take my time to study other technical matters such as composition, painting, etc. Don't worry, in time, I will share more advanced works. As of now, i've been painting in oils. I'm getting better during each new session , but it's still a long road.

Figure studies! your own figure ! WOW! Anatomy knowledge, rendering, different details, separating planes, lighting, weight, volume, wow,wow,wow, you got it all. You need to gather it all together and create a whole knock-out figure. You are so gentle with your viewers, Patrick, you need to use all your power (which is very strong) to suddenly surprise and make us overwhelmed. I can see you doing that. But on the other side I do love your subtle delicate manner to tell your story. Well I want it all . I'm greedy.

Figure drawing sessions here are very scarce! It sucks. I will have to go to a far place for this. You'll have to wait for a while, but I'll sure be posting some.

Your portraits, all have a personality. My favorite is the middle one. I thought that you will have those attentive, careful, intelligent eyes, based on your posts on forum. I thought you will have this kind of methodical, with love to little details mood about you. So I'm very glad to see this in your portraits. Very good catching of the expression again, I would order you my portrait and I'm sure you would catch my best mood on paper too.

patzon your last set of sketches are great..the studies of people doing things if good i used to do those...i would like to see you go more for line..be a drauphftman instead of a painter..hehe...use line..forget tone..that way you are force to touch things..here at the shcool we draw more tonaly which im learning..im always inclined for line though..but you need both..dont forget your perspective it is essential..as well as construction.. that way you keep proportions always to check..keep drawing from life..masters imagination..keep the study of anatomy/perspective, draw constructevely, tonally, linear..and the way you draw..hehe..i guess you are doing those things... you should think about coming to the school i think you would love it here.later

good stuff. I really like your skeletal/skull/anatomical studies. the fourth one down on the first post is great, very strong tones. I also like the sketch of a little girl, good loose fluid lines. some of your drawings look kind of light, try bringing in stronger values and contrast, but I know these are just sketches.
the portraits are good too, very lifelike. some of the figures from imagination look a little rounded, comic-book style, which is great if that's what your going for.

I like the Dante's inferno stuff, more of that please...have you seen Wayne Barlowe's book "Barlowe's Inferno"?, just mindblowing.
the bazaar thumbnails are neat, I used to live in West Africa (republic of Benin), and the markets there are just incredible.
