I would LOVE to be able to see the sword designs better. They look quite fantastical ! Anyway to darken the outlines and get rid of some of the background stuff thats making it hard to see?

i'm loving these designs, I guess the only reason its not showing up so well is you might be doing it on really thin paper, because it looks like maybe part of the scanner is comming through.
other than that, I'm really enjoying that third one, great style and shading.
please post more, I'd like to see more of these designs.![]()

Its really easy to feel intimidated here, I agree... I think the best way to get over this is to face your fear! ... it took me forever to post and I still get the intimidations, but keep doing it... the more you post, the less hesitant you'll feel.
Your stuff looks great... You gave us a teasernow we want more!
Try putting a thick piece of white paper/cardstock behind the thin paper when you scan? (or should it be dark paper?)... I too have a LOT of trouble with scanning and have yet to be able to scan what I do in and have it even register 50% of the lines...
take care, and keep on posting, your stuff looks good, dont' worry![]()

I really do like the designs (2nd one) though I don't think they'd be really effective in a battle other than look good.
Don't take my comments the wrong way....I tend to look at things from the end user point of view.....the things sticking out may hurt me more than my blade can hurt my enemy. But that's just my view.
Just remember everyone here felt intimidated at one point or other.....or even till now (yes I feel small in the league of so many brilliant artists).
