Hey everyone.

I just had a question about setting up a palette for speed painting. Are you just eyeballing colors or are you picking off of a ref or do you have preset palettes for certain scenes?

The reason I ask is because whenever I start up a speed painting, I have trouble finding the colors I want/are true to the scene I'm trying to paint.

EDIT: I guess the real point of a speed painting is to practice values/colors. That being said, if anyone has any useful tips, I'd love to hear them.

Okay, technically its a 3 hr speedpaint, but most of it was finding what i wanted to paint. sometimes I'll just open a new canvas and go until i get something nice. here's what popped out.
