I got a new video card and wasn't paying attention to the fact it's pci express x16. Is there anyway to get this connected or is my only option to return it for agp x8?

If your motherboard does not support pci express, then you have to return it. Older motherboards most likely won't be able to support it.
I've heard of AGP 8x to PCI-e adapters... but I've never seen one for sale, so I doubt they truly exist. Unfortunately you'll have to return it.
What kind of card did you get?

hey, thanks guys. I figured I'd have to return it. Boy I wish I had the moola to build a new system with pci e. That amount of data transfer is sweet. It's a XFX geforce 6600 GT.
