I dig the concept, but the "finished" pic itself is pretty lame tbh
The foreground where he is directly standing is much too hazy juxtaposed with how clear the character is. If they are on the same level then logistically they would be equally in focus. Also the right boot (viewer's right) is missing the linear lines of the rest of the character; it falls in too much with the hazy background. Also, the pants need to be worked on, study how forms affect clothing in real life (in terms of points of tension and release). Good luck, its cool.
Its a very interesting concept.
My biggest suggestion would be to work on your composition, having him just standing there in a basic pose is a little uninteresting. Maybe a perspective angle seen from below or with him looking out over a cliff or something. Anything really, he looks likes his posing for a picture or something.
It shows a lot of promise and the beginning of a good unique style.
Don't be discouraged by comments from people like dem0n. Some people just don't understand the idea behind "constructive critiscism".
