    Nice enviros!
This one http://www.rook-art.com/images/palace_interior.jpg reminds me of craig mullins's work. Really nice.
though, its sometimes a bit blurry from time to time on some pics, but still very convincing
    Good work !

one of your best sets so far, rook. the colors in the popkes are so vibrant - I can feel the moisture in the air and the roughness of the ground.

IMO just work on your figures more... especially since march dude =P
I don't have any life drawing classes at all man.. I've never had any, just the 2 days in Montreal that they had the good models posing- I just use myself and other people who aren't even Posing, just sitting or laying down or something. It's a most unfortunate situation but you gotta suck it up and make the best of it man. Granted this isn't March anymore, and you haven't posted in months, I still bet you could use some work on your figures

first some old freelance, Fantasy flight games, game of thrones, iron throne edition, i might have posted these before:

i did some others but they really kinda sucked.

Then heres some orthos I did for a starcraft boardgame, they wanted me to do turnarounds of various guys so they could give it to the sculptor, cause apparently blizzard has no such thing.

dont ask me about the scout design, its theirs not mine.

this one was mostly done by donkeyslayer with some of my tocuhups

all I pretty much had to go off on those was the little gifs from the game and some stuff from cinematice, thats the best i could do, for any of you starcraft fans out there, sorry if i got anything wrong.

heres two pieces for illustration class, meant to be opposite emotions/portraits (i was assigned them) with no narrative, so not much of a story being told just images:

theyve been crited to death so i know every little flaw in these

and now for some random sketches from my sketchbook:

first a lil comic thingy in my sb:

Omigosh, I've been WAITING for an update!

You've hit the ground running at Ringling, not long before you're flying, that's for sure

Your water color figure studies really stand out the most to me - they show a level of confidence and understanding that your life drawings were lacking before. The umbrella is also very strong to me, you're making good use of shape.

I love the feel of the calm and agony pieces - I think you chould have softened the outline around your face in "calm" slightly but I like the gritty and more visceral feel of "agony" as a contrast. It's a great standalone piece and should go right in that folio.

You've come such a long way, and I'm getting a little nervous about where you're gonna be when you graduate... nervous as in, I fear for my job safety once you get turned loose

All that work is paying off!

wow, superb work. i love the first game of thrones illu especially-the mood is just perfectly adapted from the book for me. but what stands out most to me is that second watercolour lifedrawing-had to save it,because it's just near perfect. it's confident,it's loose,it's just right on spot. keep it up like this,i'm with steph you're gonna kick some serious ass when you're fully developed.
