Well, yes my patience to finish paintings is quite low.
Nevertheless I fight against it!

Here is an update for the enviroment, i am not happy right know, it looks too friendly, perhabs i have to decrease the staturation and dynamic a bit... also the lonely figure looks stupid, misplaced. Think i need some view on real landscapes now.

A promising doodle i started for about 30 min.
I will focus on rhythm and simplicity of the composition... kill me if i don´t finish this...

I'll remember your deathwish, if it isn't finished! Besides that there are a couple things you might want to look at. The ear, seems a tad bit off, the top part , seems to reach a bit far too high. And also watch for that alignment of the lips and nose, the lips seem to be a bit off, or that might be me. Besides that finissh it, it seems like it's going to be good.

I am not really sure what this scene is about, i thought about a symbolic figure like "autumn"... currently it seems more like a fight seen but we will see it tomorrow...

Update!!! I finally found a scenery i am satisfied with, i struggle with her legs right now, you see. Perhabs i add a wolf by her side but we will see...

Cause time is little the next few days for me, i set the deadline for next weekend for this one. Wish me luck!

Ok, after some various extension of the canvaz, i finally cropped it and simplified the scenery.

Nothing original but that will come next...

I guess i go back to bow... which makes just more sense in this scenery....

well, i almost got mad with her pose especially her feed... hope it works!
Ok not finished but i see the goal already!

I think her pose is a tad of balance

and it could be fixed by moving her right leg to her right just a tad more

but otherwise the progression is very positive!!!

do you ever work on getting a good [clean] line drawing, and then rendering everything out on top of that?

Oh oh the deadline!!!

Although i said that i finish the painting above I didn´t got it done.
Nevertheless or better BUT i have another thing done this weekend.

@Texahol: Well the craziest thing is that i actually know that my workflow is bullshit... I really have to try to work step by step ....

Love your work in here, though on your last piece. My first glance made me believe it was a woman. Though when I looked clearly I saw more manly features. But still, it could be mistaken. Just a pointer, no critique I'm sorry to say.

Thanks for your words Hive_minD. A woman? Well Sir Galahad is described as "pure" and "immaculate", therefore I gave him some kind of beauty.
So the little androgyny is intended.

it kinda looks like she is missing some hair on the lower part of her head

but other than that its excellent! the eyes are so expressive!

You should push the colors, though. It's looking a bit washed out right now. Great painting, though. Can't wait to see it finished.
