I'm curious about your brush in Photoshop for this: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1169724785 and the other stuff with the animals on the boats, I think its just basic round, but what i'm curious about is how you use the opacy and flow settings?

You have a great eye for value, the B&W stuff is great. This last 10 minute speed is a great one, I like the forearms dark like that.

thank you Mr-Joe, well you are right it was just the standard basic round brush i used, because it was the first time i used my tablet for real painting i just used two different brush settings. One without anything like pen pressure for opacity and brushsize; the other with both named options on with pen pressure.
The flow settings i can´t remember, not really knew what to do with it those days...

ok here is the last quicky for today, can´t figure out why i painted it but... its better than nothing... check it out.

hey you have a lovely sketch book here matey. I am particulary fond of your pencil work. Hey shame about the first three pages of work being missing. I would of like to see them too.

thank you AK86, yeah my attention is weak at the moment, although i have to say that digital painting is something i don´t do for such long and time is rare these days.

See this thing i did for about 30 min., it is one of few traditional drawings i did for months... hope to give you more analog stuff... hopefully i have the time to do an self portrait with oils at the weekend...

long time no see, it´s weeks i drew or painted the last time, but right now i have vacations for the next TEN weeks....
so i will get back into drawing and painting, with the goal to achieve a level i proudly can make the first steps into business and sell my stuff... or to get a job in that area....
we will see...

Wow! Great to see you get into some tones, not just line of the pencil. Don't be afraid to be messy - especially at the beginning. - it adds life and can be refined closer to the end. Same for your pencil stuff.

so here is on of my very first full figure drawing which i like more or less (still wip). I always have difficulties with the legs, so that the character is standing safely. Hope it works here.
I will change the arm a bit.. looks odd to me right now...

Woah, from the last post you did in May to the first one in July you suddenly like-doubled or tripled your skill level. & I can't believe those weren't refed!!! About the colored small cat, I thought it was a weird looking dog! I also think you should reference or redo the small cats arm (which is grabbing the big cats arm). It looks weird, & despite the vaule change, flat. It' almost like it wasn't part of the small cat's body! keep up the good work xaya, it's getting better & better!
