Awesome studies. So much intricacy in some of these.
I would say at this point do some more anatomy studies, especially portraiture. That seems to be your weakest point.
Thanks Mantis! I need to start practicing people. I have done more drawing, but until I find a decent scanner this is the best I can offer.

Hey, great start! I'm lovin the houses and everything on SB4.jpg... mayan and chinese artifacts, i think...? The buggish creature next to it is a little hard to read, though. I'll come back to see what you put up next week!! =)
Having trouble updating, scanning, and staying alive. Bad day. Will try to upload more this evening.
The grammar of this title is alllll wrong. As is my scanner. I drawd a bug! I know I know, I'm ment to be drawing people, but there a lot more bugs than people around.
hey good start man, the loomis study are pretty accurate all i can say is to keep on drawing, and draw from life a lot, those insects sketches are surely good practice to be able to draw wicked creatures from imagination later on.\cheers
Looking good so far! You're showing a lot of variety in what you draw and that's always a positive. Good to see that you're using Loomis and drawing from observation as well! Keep it going!
Scanner is finally dead, tiny update, could only scan the pen drawings. Laaaame. Back at uni soon though, so I can steal their scanners. Ahahaha. Ha..... I still need a new scanner. ¬ ¬
Need. New. Scanner.
Sometimes, I get bored, and draw lizard things. Oh well.
Loving those skull studies^ :0
Nice start!
Oh cats, what would I do without the creatures you leave on my bare back whilst I'm asleep in the sun. I would not be able to draw bird feets! That is what!
Oh, have some pants DSG sketchs too.
Lets see... painting outside, drawing toys, drawing plants, doodles, drawing people, drawing rainy people.
Go to a museum. Listen to the shear ignorance of the parents and teachers there. How do kids stand the slightest hope?![]()
I got a neat model dinosaur.
And a tiger. Sorry about the photoshop, we dont get along.
Thanks Plunder Bunny! I shall!![]()

Good stuff! Your architectural & insect/animal stuff is particularly nice, and as Jackpot mentioned, I dig the variety! (that's something I really need to work on myself.) Definitely keep at it!![]()

Hay there Sunseaker! Awesome work in here!!
Really impressive studies, great variety as well! Fantastic still life drawings at the top of the page, and great looking anatomy studies! Do more of them, they look really solid!
Little imaginary stuff like this as well - http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1239972806- Is great too look at, really dig.
Really liking the paintings as well, you seem to have a good eye for colour!

I have to agree with most, very nice studies. Like to see some more finished work, those animal drawings are good, the tiger there is pretty cool as well (the colored one). Keep at it, you win just by doing what you love.
YALL HAVE some WICKED VALUES TONZ OF COOL PICS AN YER ARCHITECTURE ROCKS!
Ah-hah, thanks! Will do some real nonsketchy stuff tomorrow. Today went less well than I hoped. Turned into 7 hours of 10 second poses. Noooo! Also some chav baby with a brick shaped head puked Right Next to me, I ran, like a coward. Fact!

Nice job on the last batch! Your heads & drapery are improving, and again you have a great range of stuff you're trying! The horse skull is really nice...![]()

Nice line work, you nail the fine details. Stay loose and keep up that reference. I love the style your are starting to form. I love the tiger study and water color. Don't know if you were going for an asian style water color piece?!?! If so, great job. Keep on it!
