the peeps u draw, looking great. Ur tattos are great, try to work more on them , I like my characters to have tattoes on their bodies, not allways .

    Keep em coming, draw, draw.

    New Web Site Launched!

Mike: You're so right. Her had raised arm is really not well done... I guess that was my boredom showing through... oh well. But I should've been able to do that foreshortening and perspective in my sleep. Sheeeeeit. Next time ;p Peace man!

Soul:Child: Well, you're welcome at any time during the race I'll stop by and crit when I get a chance. Thanks for stoppin' in.

HEROIC: What did you have in mind for a background? I was thinking of it more as a sketch, and chance to just mess around... but if you have anymore insight, I'd love to hear/read your thoughts on it. And thanks for the compliments

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, anti-climactic, I know, but I'm just posting to say my new website is luanched: On the D/L
stop by, sign the guestbook, and let me know what you think... or if you hate and I should go work at a coffee shop instead.

I'll post some art when I get a digital camera (today maybe?) cause I'm working on some paintings... acrylic paintings... I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting sick of seeing so much crappy digital art out there (above sketch included), done by people who haven't learned to paint and analyze color properly... so I'm going to follow my own advice and go back to traditional paints for a while. I understand the need/value of digital when it comes to production, as I use it all the time for work, but don't think it's a shortcut for learning to paint, cause it's not. The crucial element missing in digital is the act of mixing the colors your self, and therefore getting to understand them on a visceral, and technical level. Anywho, no more preaching!! PAINT PAINT PAINT!! Peace all

    Tons of awesome work, dude!

I love your Underworld portraits and your step-by-step progress of how you color your sketches in PS! Really good imagination using that PS step-by-step as a poster in a later piece, haha.

Really enjoyed your sketchbook, man! I'll be checking back frequently.

    Exclamation

    hey Daniel (Phuzion)-

um,, i really like the purple background, and the shades it made.
The feeling i get from the drawing,, is a very simple female character. very subtle characteristic. seems to be real quick, and she passed through a dangerous path. So , i would think of a very dark deep jungle. Little creatures are sneeking out of some holes. A wild, wild environment. make some injuries on the character and some bleedings.

Make the stick very bright lookin. And making the eyes glow,, but this glow is differnet form the glow of sun,, thats why she covered her eyes with her hand.

try to feel the scene, feel how did she escaped from the dark jungle or whatever,, and at least reached the light. very tired but, still hope.

The purple shading u gave to the scene makes it more difficult to think for a background. becasue the character shows the life, work, light,, hope.

So, if it was a differnt colour like very light orange, or very dark orange,, it would be a little bit easier to think of a background.
Blahh,, at the end,, i suck at ideas. your drawings are great. do a little bit more work on it. its really cool that at the front you can see the light, and freshness. and at behind, theres darkness and looniness.

Great, , keep up the good work.

i love your style and the fact that you can draw realistically and cartoony at the same time, im so tired of seeing people drawing anime crap and they can even draw a real face. Great work and keep them coming!

IanE: Hey thanks man, I appreciate it. I'll try to update more frequently than I have been... but work's a bitch sometimes. peace

FuT: Ha ha! Awesome. Thank you, I'm glad that people have been hitting the site. That's always positive, though I may have more work on these forums... but whatever ;p

HEROIC: Yikes, that sounds like a whole new illustration. Maybe later, though really her story takes place in the desert, but we'll see where it goes. Thanks man.

bwkeough: Wurrrrrd. Yeah, just gotta get around to snapping shots of the paintings. Just did one of Hellgirl, and that was a blast... not up to backgrounds yet, but I'm getting there. Thanks man.

mengde: Down with Anime!! Well, not really, but down with learning from Anime!! Heh, thanks. Here's more work... I'll leave it to you to decide whether it's great or not
    -------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, this is development work on the main character, for the most part, for a comic I'm working on now. My own story, my own everything! Babes, Danger, Parallel Universes... the works!

Warm up page of some cat... thing. It'll be pretty big... size of a smallish mule.

And dev work on Amita, the main character... with a sketch of her older bro too... yeah.

Amita... later in the story. Sorry, you'll have to wait till I get some of it done to find out what this is all about...

Okay, that's it from today... somewhat slow I guess. Oh well, hope you enjoy it. Peace!

WHoly COw, this last updates makes me commit suicide. great man.

Keep up your great work, thats really good, when u draw u'll make an story for it, sometimes, i'll do that in my drawings, , O well, am just a beginner, i still got to learn a lot.

Ur Works InsipRes me hell CraZy.
The last drawing u did, the girl, whome we look from up. If u draw the planes, u'll see the eyes are not prepective(specialy, the right eyes is a little bit up than the plane goes). Also the right eye is a little off, i mean where its looking compare to the left eye. Just let u know, if u didnt notice

Amita, and the drawing of ur bro, looks helll good, very solid. what kind of pencil u use?
