So, more of an experiment to compel at least myself to do something art-related daily. This will be a collaboration between myself and my
pal Wilson. For the most part, unless otherwise noted, pencils/inks are from Wilson and colorwork/paint will be myself.
Will mark anything otherwise as necessary

Today's project:


Decided I needed to practice portraiture, so I grabbed a photo and did. Fairly happy with it mostly, though something bugs me about the lips and her left eye (viewer right).

i really like your realistic stuff..
coloring is okay imo but when you draw stylized some of your (female) faces have some struggle with anatomy.. nice style though..
post some life studies.. makes it easier to crit and wage your skill

Busy weekend, so sorry to delay a reply. But thanks for the comments. Funny conundrum actually, Wilson dislikes drawing life studies, and I like doing them but lack a scanner. I'll try to convince him to do otherwise though.


Actual update, I painted with Bob Ross. Didn't get much else done this weekend, helping with website, etc.

Finally got around to finishing this. Mostly happy, but I think I'll go back and rework a few parts in the future.
