    battle suit concept

This is a idea I had for a 3d model I had a few months ago. I have not posted here much but hope to be more active starting with this. All comments are much appreciated. Thanks for viewing. -N

Nice sketch and rendering, but I'm wondering how exactly a guy fits in there. It looks like the legs are rather wide apart at the hip/groin area and the guy'd have to crane his neck forwards to fit his arms into the suit's arms.

It looks very stable and bulky and would fit any UT style game, but I would love to see more inovative designs in big mecha's, for example let him have a wheel instead of legs, one wheel where the mecha itself is in the center of it

thanks for the insight (Evil)(Acorn)(Riley)(Admiral Hahn).

    Cool ideas!

This was inked with a ball point an two Micron pens. Then I applied markers (cool grey) and added highlights with a white prisma crayon. Open canvas was used for the final clean up an armor paints.

The driver is about half the size of the machine. The feet of the operator would be just above the knees an the arms pulled in towards the helmet. This would make it a bit more durable for the driver in case damage was taken. But probably wouldn't be used for long rides or family trips. Kinda of a tight space.

I hope that helps. thanks again for the comments!
