Like everyone else said, this is looking really good! Keep it going! Don't be afraid of using darker values as most of these seem pretty light. And don't be afraid to loosen up that drawing hand a bit either. Sketching is messy sometimes, y'know?! Get some life studies up in here! Keep it up, man!
Thanks for the comments guys - they really mean a lot to me.
Burning Eyes,DNA -thanks guys, I sure will - there's lots of stuff still waiting for scaning - some older stuff too.
dakoscwash-thanks
arghmisfit-thanks![]()
ZebzFree-thanks a lot, you're right, I should use more darker values - and I am - you'll see in the stuff i'm about to post this week. You're also right about the loosening up, my sketches tend to be "stiff" but i'm working on that, Thanks for the pointers though![]()

Strong Anatomy skills ~ good insertion points ~ form development and contrast can be pushed further. Try to make your page compositions work a little harder.
Again Welcome~strong start!
Where from in Poland?
Will stop by on once in while to see how you are doing!
mentler - thanks for visiting, this opinon comming from you is a huge compliment for me - thank you , I'm still learning - working on form development and composition also
I'm from Warsaw
You're always welcome
Update (finally) :
Few pages from my sketchbook:
Two quickies for Eastern Europe TD - subject: "Steampunk astronaut/Mars explorer" - nothing special, just some doodles to work out the ideas.
I've got more comming this week![]()

You are certainly going to be a player!
Looks like you are starting to get to know your subconscious which is the number one ingredient as far as I am concerned. Anyone can learn technique, but not everyone can make it speak.
really amazing concepts you got there!
i like em all..
post some life studies.. i'm sure you can make great improvements..
it's good to see that you obviously draw all your drawings quite big..
i made the mistake that i always drew on a piece of paper that was like a5 but all my little sketches were like 2-5 cm's small..
post on!![]()
- Mentler - thanks once again for visiting and commenting![]()
- Lim - thank you, it's been a while since i made any life studies - i
cerainly need to do some, all these here were drawn on A4 and they're not
really that big but i can tell you that making some huge drawings once in a
while is a great practice. Small thumbs are also very useful but good artist
should be able to do both.
Today's small dump:
two muscle studies (from refs - still learning)
two small pieces from photos:
and one random doodle:
That's it for now. Cya

steak-tron - thanks for visiting - your sketchbook is one of my favourites, I'm a big fan of the Dredd/Batman comics and Mean Machine is my favourite character.
ZebzFree - thanks, I'm afraid I don't , I tend to give up on drawings before finishing them - but i managed to finish my Eastern Europe TD entry - not entirely satisfied with it but it's one of the few drawings i've ever finished.
Soja - thanks I sure will
I finnaly got my own scanner so I'll try to update more often.

it. Heh - I am drawing and I'll definitely keep posting.
Some oldies this time. Current stuff is still waiting to be scanned.
This one is my response to one of the earlier DSG's - the topic was "human living under water" or something like that. I culdn't post it then but I liked the design so I'm posting it now.

sure thing dude, I know. It doesn't hurt to be reminded! Remember when you are increasing contrast, to save your darkest darks and lightest lights for the focus....if you use them all over an image it will be spotty. just 2 more cents...
love your sketchbook, one of the best here! Thanks for sharing!!

jetpack - thanks again for visiting and for a very good pointer I still have some problems when it comes to defining the main focal point and some overal composition - another thing i have to work on more![]()
"love your sketchbook, one of the best here! Thanks for sharing!!" - I'm glad you like it, thanks but i don't think that it's one of the best, I'm so happy that i may share this stuff with you guys and i'm even happier that you seem to really like it![]()
Burning Eyes - thank you, you are always welcome, I actually can't deny my mind being pretty crazy but i'm still working on my skills. Glad you think so - i'd love that - but i don't think it's gonna happen so soon, but thats definintely my goal for the future![]()

ooh that last photo ref is sweet man. I like your shading style, keeping those lines linear and parallel. cool shit
You have a really nice rendering technique going for ya, several of these have a really airy feel to them. Can't wait to see more.
