still a lot of work. The setting is somewhat undefined.. some gun wielding, deserty place.. Texas maybe

Hmm, nah the mask is also supposed to be some handcrafted leather thingy nailed to his face.. I see that it's hard to get from the dark coloring.. maybe I'll go over that when I've thought about a fitting background

I like the facial expressions on most of these. The no/ref female face has some postioning issues that are and easy fix. Would also like to see you push the values. Do you make a habit of flipping your images? Your portrait work on page 3 is great btw.

thanks for stopping by. What do you mean with positioning issues? You're right about the values... was kinda scared pushing them too much, though I know I should have. And I know I should flip them from time to time.. but most of the time I forget

I'll post an english version of those pages as soon, as I've had some decent sleep.. I'm sober after soon having celebrated the end of my semester marked by those comic pages and I've fixed my computer, which has crashed during this project

I hate working on notebooks...

Oh my... it's been such a long time since I've last posted... shame on me. Been spending a lot of time with a 3D animation project for university, which has been pretty time consuming so far. Once it's finished I'm gonna post the animation here if anyone is interested.

I've also been working on the last pages of that comic (translation once it's completed - promise).
So far.. the next 2 pages... pencils, some details still missing. Done solely in Painter IX

Thanks for stopping by, good to see you again. Our professor decided to publish the comic we were working on, so unfortunately I'm not supposed to show the last pages. Everyone interested in the comic project can take a look at www.strichnin-comic.de (german only - sry for that)

I've been doing a lot of commitioned work.. most of which I'm not allowed to show. Here's something that's already gone online, so I assume it's ok to post here

Coming back from my vacation last week, I had a 3 hour stayover at Helsinki airport, so I had some time to sketch

Right now I'm spending most of my time on my diploma thesis which is due in February. It's going to be (who would have thought that) a comic, set in the near future where mankind has succeeded in manipulating the environment. I've already got most of the story finished, some parts of the storyboard, the main characters, etc.
Not sure yet, how many pages it will have... probably too many for me to finish till Feb

I'll try to keep posting.
