heh, art of clam i like that..anyhow you've got some great expressive poses and what not, one thing i think you could use some work on is faces, you tend to hide them or minimalize them and nothing helps expressive poses like espressive faces! another thing is your stuff comes off a bit oversaturated and contrasted, even for cartoony style there's alot goin on that can definitely be subdued. it's cool to mixe black line art and painted stuff but if done right, and you're close but the two don't quite fit together yet, i think you need to soften the contrast and saturation and let the black lines do their work better to accent what you've got. of course this mostly relates to what you're showing here and the first few images from the site. so in summation<-thought that was a geek..anyow
-don't make your highlites so hot(bright) and your shadows so dark
-lower the saturation a bit on your colors (a problem i have too)
-and work on them faces
keep on truckin!
It's super happy wonderful fun time!

wow some great poses there im still getting a hold of the damn anatomy on my own art, id practice the colors a bit if i were you and try to put more emphasis on the faces (not on all your pics just try to vary) anyhow the suits on those remenber me of that MDK game (by interplay) have you seen it? its actually one of my favorites.
well keep practicing your cg try spending more time with it dont worry about cging 10 pics a minute spend more time on each one, that will help.

Thanks, for the feedback, I appreciate it. anyone/anything else?
Noob? Heh...
Maybe a noob to this community but clearly not a noob to artwork.
Some of the earlier posts mention focussing more on saturation and on faces; these are spot-on, without doubt. My suggestion in addition would be that you go back to basics -- complement your cg work with some good old pencil and paper work. You'd be amazed how much a little practice with more traditional materials and techniques will inform your cg work. This will also give you a chance to practice without trying to make each piece a finished masterwork.
Keep at though you have a hell of a lot going for you in your work.

Thanks for the info. Just finished this...figure was done in maybe 2-3 hours...and then I decided he should have a background to help him out. So that took..yesterday and a couple hours today..

did you call yourself a n00b? someone should slap you, this is some grade-A stuff, i wish i had skillz like dat!
Ive done it before and ill do it again BWAHAHAHA!
you need to work on your color some...the figures still need work too they seem a bit too distorted...i do like the silouette alot though that one is solid. your fleshtones need work...look at old master paintings and study them...your colors look too metalic on the faces. and the last one could use more subtle colors too. hope this helps.
