I'm not too much into camwhoring, but I want to participate in the "Draw from this thread" thing, so here we go.

I hate most of the pictures of myself, so there are not many decent ones, as I try to avoid being photographed...

So... here's more. One's from my 21st birthday about 30 lbs ago, and the other one is me being a goof in the locker room before practice. And yeah, my shirt has the Pillsbury dough boy with a ball gag in his mouth - I'm that awesome.

Tetrodotoxin - the second photo really reminds me of comedian Demetri Martin. Since I don't know what you think of him, I'll clarify that is a compliment. Or, as my wife would say, "he's cute!"

(edit -should have gone to the next page to see the stunning corset!)

daestwen - that's really impressive, and it looks really good on you. I'm always impressed by people who can sew. My wife made us clothes for a ren faire, and the pieces of the pattern made NO sense to me. Those boots are amazing, by the way! See you in Dallas.

pezzle - your coach called. He said please stop licking the helmet.

Hey I bought that helmet, I can have a steamy love affair with him all I want! His NAME IS BAUER!! Though I'm secretly cheating on him with a Bauer 8500 w/ truevision oval face mask that I can't afford - shh he doesn't know.

Good Lord, daestwen...a female that can actually sew! It's beautiful. I'm working on a couple of kimonos with Seneca decoration for my wife--might actually finish them before I'm dead.

...and niiiiiiiiiiice butt! (What can I say--I'm a dirty old man )

Thanks guys No fighting over my ass pleeeease, I own it and would rather not chop it off!

Ilaekae: This is the first actual piece of clothing i've sewn (to completion) before, so i'm rather proud of myself right now. :] Up to now i've just done little plushies and things. Usually I'm quite a tomboy, so one would think it's weird, except that the only friends i have that are interested in doing sewing projects are all male! It's a funny world. Other than my sister (who sews her own hats) i don't know any other girls who sew! Knitting, though, that's another story...

Kelly: It doesn't have any ribbing or anything, it's kind of half vest/half corset, but i might put some darts in it to sinch it up!

I seem to have the same situation, daes'...

Everybody i know that sews or does embroidery/weaving/etc. is male except for maybe 8-10 females who do amateur quilting. My wife's best friend IS an incredibly accomplished seamstress, though, and I'm trying to get her to go into business making costumes.

And if you want true manliness...I also make glass bead necklaces... I actually have nearly 1.5 million beads and about 1800 pounds of various textile material stored in my basement...
