Space worm

Looking for any advice on this piece. It's a re-working/re-imagining of a previous piece I did.

You've got 2 light sources, the moon and a red light at the front off page. The red light is what should be lighting up the base of the worm and not as strong as the lighting you have already. The earth at the base of the worm doesn't look like it's been burst through.

I read it as the spaceman put one of his light markers into the ground and accidentally stabbed the worm.
